this is going to be harder than i thought...

marinettes pov

'UGH I HATE THIS FUCKING MAN WITH MY LIFE HES SO ANNOYING I WANNA PUNCH HIM' i shouted whilst throwing my stuff around my room. A knock at the door. 'fuck' i whispered 'uuuuh coming' i slowly opened the door to see alya. 'few it's just you' "who else girl" 'hmm idk adrien or even worse my dad' "why would adrien be bad isn't he your best friend." 'was, past tense' "mhm ok" my heart stung saying that i loved him every bit of me loves him.

alya started talking "let's get you ready" 'ok but don't be shocked' i said talking about the scars from my near death experience and the other night. "ok girl" alya went in the bathroom whilst i got my royal blue and yellow dress on. 'ALYA CAN U HELP WITH MY CORSET PLEASEEE' i shouted so she could hear me. she came out looking worried 'what's wrong' i said turning around i saw her look at my wrist and inhale a sharp breath and said "adriens escorting you to the ball."

you better be joking adrien my adrien i should be exited but im not so sure if i am 'oh ok that's fine ahah' "okk but i know you love him" 'excuse me' "what did you need help with" she asked shyly. 'uuuhm my corset thanks' she helps tighten my corset and did my hair in a nice curly bun with silver and pearl pins in my hair i did my makeup lightly and i was ready it was time for the ball.

adriens pov

it was time for the ball no it was time to see marinette my marinette we got in the limo and drove to the palace that's when my nerves kicked in. what if she has ago at me. what if she wants to be alone. i took some deep breaths and without me even knowing we were here.

me and mother walked in and on the hallway i saw mari all by herself waiting me for looking gorgeous she was waiting to start the ball with me i walked up behind her and kneeled down to her height as she was sitting down. 'hey gorgeous' maybe that was abit to bold she turned around glossy eyed with a slap mark barely noticeable on her face but i knew her face and that's not meant to be there. 'woah woah woah what happened' "oh nothing don't worry let's go" 'i am worried tho' i muttered "sorry what did u say" 'oh nothing let's go' we stood hand in hand and she glanced up and i glanced down i noticed red and white lines all up her arm. i inhaled a sharp breath and she seemed to notice and looks away sad. for fucks sake adrien i said to myself.

marinettes pov

second time today that someone noticed my cuts before me brilliant. We entered the ball so it could start and i could see everyone staring at me i felt so small even my friends were looking at me like i was some monster. i held my tears back and adrien lightly squeezed my hand as if it was an everything will be ok sign but it wasn't.

A few hours later everyone kinda just stopped caring and we all laughed drank and had fun before the 4 hour mark which means only 5 hours more adrien pulled me away quickly. "marinette i love you will you be my girlfriend"
'YES' i said. we headed back to the group and they all smiled im guessing they were in on it.

about 5 hours later we all had abit to much to drink and got abit drunk well some more than others me and felix were chatting then a slow song came on felix disappeared to find kagami but i already found her with my boyfriend i know they used to date but wtf was this.

The end of the slow dance came and they both leaned in for a kiss until he noticed me. i wasn't going to cry and let him see "MARI" he shouted. i didn't want to go to my room i wanted to leave i ran and pushed through people and he chased me shouting my name i shut the door in his face hoping he would stop.

10 minutes went by of me crying on the step he exited the building, he looked like he was just preparing for this "mari" he said calmly. 'what' i said coldly im not letting him see me weak and vulnerable. "im sorry i dont know what came over me" 'oh of course you didnt' i turned around anger and adrenaline filled my body. "mari please calm dow-" 'CALM DOWN YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN IT HAS NOT EVEN BEEN AN HOUR  SINCE YOU ASKED ME TO BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND AND YOUR READY TO SUCK FACE WITH KAGAMI ONE OF MY BESTFRIENDS AND YOUR EX AND MY COUSINS GIRLFRIEND WHATS WRONG WITH YOU' i shouted "mari please let's just talk like civil humans" 'oh you wanna be civil ok then be civil and leave me alone' "mari im not going to do that" my breathing started to get faster 'UGH YOU COULDNT CARE LESS COULD YOU I LOVED YOU I CARED FOR YOU' and faster 'AND YOU' breathe 'YOU' breathe 'i can't' i said struggling to breathe 'i cant breathe' i said and sat down "mari your hyperventilating let me help" he said stepping closer.

'no stay away from me' i got up my chest aching i still couldn't breathe. "mari sit down if i can't help let me get someone who can like felix im sure he can help" 'no don't drag felix into the mess you created' i said i started running away my breathing faster now im running.

she can't breathe why is she running she needs help. she was barley jogging since she was struggling to breathe i could catch up with her but i didn't want her to be even more mad. I turned around so i could go get help until i heard a thump about 20 feet away. 'MARINETTE' i sprinted to her.
