(Lowell's POV)
This morning had already started rough. I had woken up at roughly 6 a.m and I have been cleaning my room since 6:30. I hadn't gotten dressed yet, I was still in my red plaid sweats and my black sweater. When I realized it was 8:10 I decided to finally go take a shower and get dressed.
One lucky thing about living in a big house, we all have our own bedrooms and walk-in closets in our rooms. This was only thanks to our parents who were multi-millionaires but just saved it all for when we needed it most.
I went into my bathroom and turned the shower on then went to go choose my clothes for the day.
'What do I want to wear for the day..' I thought to myself looking through my closet.
I finally found something, I grabbed some boot cut jeans, a grey crop top, and my black leather jacket. I worse the same shoes everyday, my dusty brown cowboy boots that I've had for 4 years. They just sat by my bedroom door since I usually only wore those or my light brown ones.
After grabbing my clothes I went into the bathroom, put them on the counter and got undressed.
When I got in the shower, it felt nice. The warm water running down my back. I was my hair with my purple shampoo since I died my hair jet black but had platinum blonde tips I had to use it.
After I was done showering I got dress and went to brush out and semi-dry my hair. The only reason I semi-dried it is so I could put it back into a braid. I often left my hair braided so I never had to worry about it getting in my face.
I never wore any makeup so I just left that be. I go to finish cleaning up the few things left in my room when I heard my brother call my name.
"Lowell! Come downstairs real quick! I need to talk to you!" Luka called.
"I'll be down in a second, Luka!" I called out to him
I put on my boots and grabbed my phone and keys since I had to go somewhere soon and went downstairs. I walked into the kitchen where my brother was making coffee.
"What did you need, Luka?" I ask as I go to the fridge to grab me an energy drink.
"I'm going to the bar tonight to meet up with a friend. I want you to come with, get away from Hunter. You can bring Lauren or Jasmine." He says while pouring his coffee.
I look at him slightly annoyed, "You want me to go to a bar with you, all because you think, Hunter is going to end up doing something when it has been nothing but verbal arguments." I said trying to get him to let up.
He looked at me, "I'm not budging this time, Lowell. You are going." He said sternly.
"Fine, I got stuff to do today so I won't be back till later. When are you leaving, I'll grab Lauren on my way home." I sighed in defeat.
"I'm heading their at 5. Can you be back at 4?" He asked.
I nodded, "Yea, Alright I got to go run by the store and grab some things and go run and do a few errands." I cracked open my energy drink and took a few drinks before going to walk out.
"Alright." Luka said before going upstairs.
I walked out the door and went to go get in my beaten up old Chevy Tahoe. I turned on the old SUV and called Lauren.
*Ring Ring.. Ring Ring..*
"Hello?" Lauren said
"Hey, Laurs what are you doing tonight?" I asked.
"Um, I don't think I'm doing anything actually, why?" She said.
"My brother is dragging me out to the bar and I want you to come with." I said, while looking over at my gas gauge and deciding to drive over to the gas station and fill my tank.
"Yeah, you going to pick me up?" She asked.
"Yup, I it covered. Hey I'm driving I got stuff to do I'll get you in a couple hours." I said
"Alright, see ya soon, Lowell." She said.
"See you soon." I said before hanging up and pulling into the gas station.
I got out of the car and started to pump gas into my car. I sat their on my phone for a little bit while it did its thing. After finishing and paying I got back in the car and went to go do the few errands I needed to do before leaving later that night.
*Note: This is just the start of the book and this is my first time writing these. I hope you guys like it and that you will follow along. I'll get chapter two out soon.*
