It wasn't a normal day! Though in my life its hard to compare between normal or unusual day!
By the ways I'm Isle I know its a wierd name. It actually means an island but this one's pronounced as 'ile'.
Well it was given by my gran! She is one in a million gran's who can be designated as officialy cool.
I've seen my friend Lola's gran. She's the one who's suppose to be resting and living the later half of her life but, her main motive is to teach good habits and point out every tiny mistake and poke in everyone's business. Like most of the grans. Her gran doesn't even want herself to be called gran, she wants to be called as 'grandmother' to be precise.
On the other hand my gran! Well she'd prefer me calling her by her name, Camellia, on top of that she says, 'Isle, don't you think Camellia is too long! I think I'd prefer you calling me Cam!'!
And unfortunately the day she said that, my mum overheard her and I found her half fainted on the vintage rocking chair.
I went up to her all concerned and asked her in the same concerned tone,'mum are you okay?'.
She raised her head and said, 'I'm okay! But what's up with your gran. Has she lost her mind! Your father and I were really expecting to see some recovery after her dangerous heart attack! But all I see is she getting madder every day. And Isle your dad is already to busy doing his office work, so don't you think he'll be more worrisome, seeing his mother behaving like this!'I just nodded in agreement.

But the truth was something else. After the heart attack, I got much more closer to gran even after being 15. When she was in the ICU, I realised the value of your loved ones, and I couldn't risk waisting my precious moments with my near and dear ones.
Anyways, the truth was when gran gained consciousness after the tremendous 3 days operation, she opened her eyes the most she could, which too looked like her eyes were still closed, she spoke in broken words, 'Isle, are..... Yo..... U her....e.'
Just to make her feel my presence, I held her one hand with my right hand, because the left one was busy wiping away my tears. When she got the confidence that, I indeed was there, she spoke again, 'Isle, promise....Me....One.....thing...
I stiffened my grip to indicate her that "yes, here I stand tall, ready to keep the promise you're gonna ask me."
But that grip of mine on gran's hand loosened as soon as she said, 'promi.....se....me.........that......we'll........g.....oooo......to......watch....Titanic......as........soooo.....n....as....I.....ge...ttt....bettttt...er!'
I was like what the hell!
I Immediately asked gran, 'gran! Are you sleeping or are you awake?'
She waved her weak hand which was connected with a needle with in turn was connected with the IV stand next to her.
Then there was a silence for like half a minute, maybe gran was gathering the energy to speak up!.
Then she finally said, 'of course I'm awake..... Y.....ou...... Dum.....bo!'Her saying this was enough to prove her being awake.
But the bigger part was the promise she'd makd me do!
A person... Well old person who's just suffered from heart attack asking to watch Titanic! Like seriously.
No doubt its an amazing movie and gran's favourite, coz the old women in that movie who narrates the story, well.... Gran wants to meet her if she's alive.
Because she thinks that no doubt that Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio did an amazing job, and its thenold lady whom she like to get an appreciation for acting the climax so greatly.
