A Promise

I had packed everything. Like everything. My suitcase was exploding and I just wondered the hotel we'll be staying at was gonna have a tough time keeping me there. I am practically shifting.

"Honey, you done with your packing?"

"Just a minute mum", I shouted.

I pulled out my favourite underwear and started making space for stuffing it in my suitcase when tow arms wrapped around my waist sending deadly shivers down my spine.

I turned around and Shawn leaned in to meet his lips to mine. After sometime we started frenching. Shawn laid my down on the bed and Kay on top of me still kissing passionately. His hand went under my top and I messed up his hair.

His hand kept going higher and higher. It reached my bra strap and then he grazed my ear, I felt weak. Like I'd melt like jelly. I pushed him.

"What you don't like it?", He make that adorable puppy dog face!

"No dumbass, we're gonna miss the plane. Now help me close this....", I tried dragging the heavy suitcase.

"Get a side miss", he said in a stern voice.

"Yes officer, I mean you really should check what's wrong with this suitcase, it's never behaved this weird before", I started the play pretend game with him.

He inspected the suitcase and then started moving around, "hmmm, something is fishy in here don't you think"

"Y.. yes officer", I acted scared.

"Did you have any bad reactions with another suitcases? If I may ask?", He looked suspicious.

"Uh...."

"Don't hesitate ma'am, you need to tell the truth, or else I'd have to take you to the police station and kiss you passionately", a small laugh escaped his lips.

"Then take me, I won't say another true thing to you"

"Is it now that what you want?", He stared walking towards me.

"As you wish ma'am", he grabbed me and we started kissing all over again.

"Oh my God! Slow down honey. It'll be okay, don't run. Shawn take care of her and yourself", mum shouted as we were heading to the airport. Late.

"Yes. Isle will be all right ma'am, don't worry, you two take care!", He replied as we entered the terminal.

We got our tickets and sat in the lounge. We still had some time to kill.

But surprisingly Shawn didn't speak.

"What happened you all right?", I asked putting my hand on his shoulder.

"You need to take a look at that Isle"

I followed his gaze.

There was a cute chubby girl in a pink frock with white polka dots. She was licking her pink ice cream and there was this one special person watching her happily. Her gran. And the girl came running towards her and said, "gran ma, more more"

She replied, "Cam, you nasty beast, I'll get you a million more, just keep smiling!"

I had zoned out. We were already sitting in the place. I was at the window and Shawn beside me.

"What are you thinking about?", Shawn asked resting his head on my shoulder.

"About that Cam girl, about what her gran said"

"What about it", Shawn said nuzzling his head in my neck.

"About being happy, is it a way gram wanted to tell me to be happy and not grief anymore?", A teat escaped my eyes.

Before it could fall, Shawn held it in his finger and said, "This isn't coming out now okay?"

I stopped crying and then looked at Shawn, "so you didn't say about what I was thinking"

"What do I have to say Isle? She's ALWAYS with us. As long as you are!"

I smiled at him and kissed him on the cheek.

He was so happy he literally screamed as the plane was about to take off, "Las Vegas here we come!"
