That night you thoroughly reviewed the clue journal that contained all your disorganized notes from the interviews. There really wasn't much that included nor excluded her from having a part in the main case at hand, anyone could be the perpetrator but many are steering towards her being the prime suspect due to baseless rumors.
To put things timely and orderly, Rohrette had only been in Fontaine for a few months and officially began working for the sewer department recently. While people have been subtly complaining about the pipes it only became a serious issue after she had a couple days of official work experience. Timing seems to be her best alibi of innocence, there's no way she could have masterminded such destruction with the little time she's had acess to the pipes, at least not alone?
Another factor to take into consideration was motivation, it simply made no sense why she'd even take part in damaging the pipes if she came a long way from home just to help maintain them. During the interview you recalled someone suggest she could have done it to take glory from the other workers but that was poposterous as well, she wanted to fit in with the crew not drive them out of jobs eithers. However on the matter of that motive it brought your attention to the crew, could someone there be trying to drive her out? To be fair there were flaws in that reasoning too, she is a good asset to them so they'd value her because it makes their job easier.
Other than that, there wasn't much noteworthy at least nothing you were allowed to deviate your attention to. Either way, it seemed like she was in the clear and that should be your priority for the case. The next day you are to meet with Neuvillette again to follow up with the Marechaussee Phantom and their findings, ideally this would also give you a chance to interview the crew personally for their thoughts on the matter and Rohrette.
After his light scolding about your brash attitude you'd be sure to control your excitement, handling this case maturely may improve your reputation. Hopefully, you'd be able to contribute much more if proven capable and useful for this case and perhaps future cases. It was fair, a couple of the interviewees were a bit offended with your bluntness.
Entering Palais Mermonia the others were caught off guard by your rather quiet enterance, it honestly did feel a bit awkward to enter calmly as it wasn't any fun. Regardless you cleared your throat,
"Ahem, Ladies."
you greeted"Did you loose all your energy or something?"
they questioned"Me? No, it's called being mature"
you smile proudly"Didn't know you could do that"
Neuvillette then peaked out through his door,
"Has [Name] arrived yet?"
he whisphered to the nearest guestionnaire. He then noticed you were stood there, blinking.
"Oh, there you are.""Shall we go?"
you asked mannerly,
Leaving the building you broke character with a small chuckle,
"Impatient to see me?"
you winkSeeing you laugh he smiles warmly
"Perhaps I was"However you quickly realized the mature facade was slipping and you put on a serious expression instead. If he saw you could be serious, surely he'd let you do more. Upon seeing your mood die down he wonders if you aren't in the best of moods, normally you'd continue to joke around by now.
"Permission to listen to the Melusine's report before I interview the crew?"
your tone was as formal as when you first met him
