AN: This is based off the photos that have been taken recently and i'm going to say that it takes place after the 18 month time jump.
A little context: The pogues have already started investigating the Black Beard case and already have some people carefully watching them...
It was a warm day in May, nearly no clouds in the sky and all six of the pogues were sitting in the remodeled chatou.
"What are we going to do today?" JJ asks the others.
"Me and Sarah have to work at the surf shop today." John B responds.
"I have to go to classes today, sorry." says Pope.
"And I told Mr. and Mrs. Heyward that i'd help them out today." Cleo responds.
JJ turns to Kiara, "Guess it's just you and me today"
After the other four had left JJ asks "So what do you want to do today?"
"I don't know, i'm down for whatever." Kiara responds.
"Why don't we go down to the pier, just you and me, a little date." JJ replies
Kiara smiles, "Lets go"
As the two are walking to the pier they end up walking past The Wreck. Mike and Anna are standing outside and see JJ and Kie. They smile and wave at them.
After JJ and Kie walk past The Wreck and make it to the pier Kie says, "Oh my god I can't believe them, I mean they came to the ceremony a couple weeks ago and just pretended that everything was fine and now their out here smiling and waving at us, I can't believe them I mean after what they did, you know KIDNAPPING ME, they can't expect to just say sorry and then for everything to be fine again you kn-"
JJ stops and grabs Kie's arm and turns her toward him, "Just take a second to relax okay. Just breathe, trust me I know they can be the worst but today isn't about them. Today is just a day for you and me to just relax and spend some time together, boyfriend and girlfriend, forget about your parents, look there's snow cones over there why don't we go get those and forget all about your parents. Okay?"
"Okay" Kiara says.
JJ grabs Kie's hand and the two of them walk over to the snow cone stand.
"What flavor would you like? I'm paying get whatever you want." JJ says
"Hmm" says Kie, "I want blue raspberry."
The man running the stand hands her the blue snow cone "And for you sir?"
"I'll take the cherry." JJ says.
Once he gets his snow cone to two keep walking down the pier laughing and giggling while they tell each other jokes.
"I wish we had time to do this more often." Kiara says
JJ puts his hand on hers and says "Yeah."
All the sudden down the pier they hear people scream and see people start running "HE HAS A GUN!" someone yells.
People move out of the way and JJ and Kie can see who it is that everyone is talking about.
"Oh fuck" JJ says
"Is that..." Kie says with shaky breath
"Yeah. It is."
They had seen the man walking towards them, just a few days before he had chased the pogues while they were looking in a Black Beard museum in Charleston. But right now he was staring directly at the two of them with a gun in his back pocket.
"Jayj what do we do?!?" Kie says clearly panicking.
"Umm, I don't know hold on."
"Wait Jayj I have an idea." Kie says turning around and jumping on the edge of the pier.
"Kie what are you doing" JJ asks
"Do you see any other way to get out of here?!?" Kie says
JJ looks toward the man who was getting a lot closer and starting reaching toward his back pocket.
"Fuck" JJ says then jumps onto the edge of the pier with Kie. He looks at her then grabs her hand.
"Ready?" she asks.
JJ nods.
"One" Kie says
"Two" JJ says
"THREE" they both say.
They both jump into the freezing cold water holding hands the whole time.

Once they hit the water they separate.
"Kie, Kie are you okay??" JJ says frantically
Coughing, Kiara says, "Yeah i'm fine, you?"
"I'm good. Here come on" JJ says noticing the abundance of people looking down at them from the pier.
Once they get under the pier where no one can see them JJ brings Kie into a hug.
