PEACHES! Yes, the peaches on your peach tree were in season and ripe enough to pick. Everyday you had to pick them. If you didn't they would get too ripe and start to rot which would attract bugs and your tree might even stop growing peaches. So, at this time of year you always had a surplus of peaches which you turned into all kinds of dishes and desserts.
That day you hadn't picked any peaches yet, so you figured you might as well. Grabbing a basket, you walked out to the tree only to see some person sitting next to it eating one of your peaches. He seemed to be enjoying himself, but... He was still eating your peaches! Sure you had plenty to go around and if he had asked, you certainly would have said yes, but he didn't ask. He just waltzed right on over and was stealing your peaches.
You called out to the guy who wasn't paying any attention to you. "You should ask before you eat other people's things."
He looked over at you and smirked. "Really? Why would I have to do that?"
"Because it's considered stealing if you don't."
"Like I care."
"You're the one who asked." Looking at the tree, this weird guy hadn't eaten too many peaches. You decided to ignore the fact he was there and went to do what you came for. As you reached down to grab a peach, that person grabbed it before you could and started eating it.
"Don't ignore me!" He complained.
"I'll stop ignoring you when you stop eating my peaches."
"Not gonna happen." He disagreed. Smiling you turned your head away from him and went back to try to pick peaches. "Hey, listen to me!"
He kept trying to get you to acknowledge him, but you ignored him no matter what he threw at you, which was mainly peaches. Hopefully he would give in and stop eating your peaches, maybe he would even go away if you didn't give him any attention, but he was extremely stubborn.
It wasn't until you were leaving that he final said something worth while-ish. "I've decided I'll stop eating your peaches for today, but only because I'm full now."
"Thank you!" You said, giving him some acknowledgement before leaving.
"Hey, where are you going?"
"Inside, it's not like I can pick any peaches with you out here."
With that you left him and went back into your house, peeking out the window to see him sit there for a little longer before picking a few more peaches and leaving. You walked away from the window, relieved that he was gone and thinking that was the end of it. But, to your disappointment he kept coming back every single day! Seriously, he plagued you more than all the squirrels that often tried to steal your peaches. If only you knew how to keep him away like you did the squirrels.
Eventually, you stopped bothering to go outside when he came, and began to ignore the fact you even had a peach tree. The peaches were nearly gone anyway, so it didn't really matter. He might stop coming if you stopped paying him attention, but of course it was never what you thought! Even with you ignoring him he would just knock, or bang, on the door really loudly. At least that's what he did the first day you ignored him, after that he just started coming into your house whenever he pleased as if he owned the place.
On your way home from shopping, just as you were thinking about how irritating he was, he jumped up on you scaring you to death. "Hey, (Name)!"
"What do you want, Judal?" You replied, obviously irritated by his presence. Somehow during the time you had gotten to know him you had figured out his name, although you never told him yours, which made you wonder how he figured it out. You wished he didn't know it though, maybe then he would stop calling it over and over again.
"I was just thinking about how much time I waste trying to get over here. I mean do you know how far away you live from me?"
"If it's a waste of time, then you can just stop coming."
"How about you get a job at the palace or something. Then I won't have to come all the way here."
"Thanks but no thanks. There is no way I'm- Wait a minute! The palace? Wouldn't that be harder for you to get to?!"
"I guess you could say that I live there. I am the High Priest after all."
"As if I would believe that. No matter how many times you say it, that doesn't make it any less of a lie."
"I'll prove it to you then." He smirked before flying up into the air.
"Plenty of magicians can fly!" You called up to him.
"Thalg Al-Salos!" A huge ice shard formed in the air as it began to separate into more pieces.
"Hey! Idiot! Don't destroy the city! I believe you, okay!?" He smirked and let the ice turn to water before it splattered everywhere, including on top of you.
"Look what you did. Now I'm all wet." You sighed.
"So are you going to come to the palace yet?"
"Just 'cause I said I believe that you're the High Priest, doesn't mean I've agreed to anything." You started to head back home in order to change your clothes.
"Come on, (Name). Get a job, become a maid or something."
"Okay Judal, since you're such a great Magi how about you use some magic to have all of the peaches you ever stole grow back. If you can do that, then I'll do whatever you want me to do." You called back to him as you walked away.
"Hey, life magic is the hardest though!"
"Well, I guess you'll have to try extra hard."
"You really piss me off!"
"Good, I was trying. If I annoy you so much be sure to stay away from me. Don't worry about me bothering you, we don't ever have to meet again, Goodbye."
"Hey, who said I was leaving?!"
"No one did, but it was implied." You turned your head to him and smiled while waving. "Bye Bye!"
"Hey! Leave now, but be prepared to get a job at the palace because those peaches will be on your tree tomorrow!" You giggled at his remark before running off.

A/N: I hope everyone likes it so far... =.= I love peaches... The only thing I have in common with Judal. 🍑
Yeah and that was kind of fast paced compared to what I normally do... Should I slow it down or is it fine how it is? I was reluctant to publish this, but I think it was mostly because I was being lazy and didn't want to add any tags to it.
If you notice any typos or bad grammar point them out, I don't hate people who announce grammar mistakes.
And, please take a look at my Mystras story, not because I want more readers but... He just my favorite character and needs more love T-T just look at the picture for his story. Isn't he adorable?
