<< Judal's POV >>
I lightly glared at the crybaby prince who stood waiting outside the front door. "What do you want, Hakuruyuu?" Irritation was evident in my voice.
"I've been wondering what you have been up to. It isn't like you to ever stay away from the palace. I just can't imagine you ever going off to live in a small house on the outskirts of the city for no reason." There he went on again. He'd been nagging me about it a lot lately and even thought I was beginning to forget my hatred for The Organization and that bitch Gyoukuen. Of course I wasn't, but I recently had been having nightmares about (Name) so I must have subconsciously spent more time with her. Plus all the questions Hakuruyuu bombarded me with had been making me nervous he would find her.
"Let's just put it like this. Recently something has been bothering me at the palace and you're right. There is no way that I would just leave all my luxuries that come from being an amazing Magi." I shoved him into the house. "See! I thought you knew me better, Hakuryuu." I then shoved him out of the house. "If you miss me so much I can spend more time at the palace. Either way I don't care."
"I see... Well, you can't sit around here forever. At least try to make it back to the palace."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. I'll try, so bye Hakuruyuu." With that I slammed the door in his face.
How irritating that that was the reason that person came here. Pointing to one of the maids I called out, "prepare me a bath!" Maybe it would calm me down before I went to (Name) and became pissed with her.
<< Your POV >>
You wandered down the dark rock pathway, each step slightly terrifying as you didn't really know where you were headed. Your pace was slowed down quite a bit to insure you wouldn't trip over anything. At least you were used to the darkness by now, since Judal had kept you in it for quite some time, which was very annoying.
You hadn't walked far before there was a ladder leading upwards as the path continued further. You decided to see where you were at the moment. Once you had climbed the ladder you tried to shove the door open. However, since it had been abandoned for so long the plants on the surface had seemed to grow all over the door holding it down. You sighed as you positioned your shoulders against the door in order to use the strength in your legs rather than your arms. With all your might you pushed, feeling the plants began to uproot from the surrounding earth. As the trapdoor opened slightly dirt fell through the cracks and all over you. You looked down so you wouldn't get any in your eyes and mouth as you continued to push. Finally, the greenery completely tore away from the ground as you popped your head out of the ground like a prairie dog.
You looked around to see where you were, and from the looks of it you were right beside the outer walls to the city, figures that not even your sister was able to build a path leading out of the walls. You looked around to see nothing of real use, so you decided to follow the tunnel further.
<< Judal's POV >>:)
I pulled myself up from the steamy hot bath. After being in there for a while now and I figured it was about time I go down to (Name). I also was a little hopeful that maybe she was still in the tired state she was in before, but of course I knew that wouldn't be the case. Stupid crybaby Hakuruyuu! interrupting me during the time (Name) is the most adorable.
Once I was completely dressed and had my hair up I decided to go down to (Name). I was still anxious to leave her for long. I needed her and only being away from her for even a conversation and a bath seemed utterly too long. I was even shaking just barely as I pulled the trapdoor open, knowing she was down there and I would see her any second!
As light poorer into the room, I was slightly nervous when I didn't see her figure immediately. I jumped down in a hurry and looked around thinking I would see her this time, however she seemed to not be in a visible part of the room. I gave her name a call, but it only filled the quiet room for a second before the still emptiness came back. It was just like it had been when I lost her a little over a year ago. The feeling of her empty house when I thought she had died.
Now I was terrified! I needed to find her! There was no way she wasn't in the room. She was just hiding, to annoy me or something. I ran to all the pillows and blankets on the bed and tore them off even though without doing so she clearly wasn't there. I kept shouting her name as I searched through every part of the room she might be. I began tearing down the drapery that was possibly hiding her, all the while wondering how she could have possibly escaped! How?!...how...? How did I lose her again?
I came to a halt and fell down to the floor, facing the wall I had just torn drapery down from. Tears prickled my eyes as I felt a cool breeze on my fingers. I, at first, didn't pay much attention to it in my sad state, but eventually in curiosity I looked up to barely see for just a split second a crack in the wall. I wiped away the small tears in my eyes upon realizing just how (Name) escaped.
<< Your POV >>
You finally came across yet another ladder leading up, however, this time the path had come to an end. As you climbed up once again you noticed the trapdoor was being held down, but somehow it seemed by something other than plants. You gave it a push then ended up shoving up against multiple time in hopes to knock whatever was on it off. It seemed to work, as you heard a thumping sound and suddenly the door opened up freely. Jumping out you embraced victory before looking over to what exactly you had knocked off the door.
A person was now sitting on the floor after being toppled over. Strangely enough, the person seemed familiar, but it wasn't until he looked up at you and you saw the scar that covered half of his face that you could recognized him. You mouth gaped open as his did too upon you seeing each other. You found yourself completely speechless as he barely found one word to say.
"(Na...me)?"
