"Put me down. Put me down. Put me down. Put me down. Put me down. Put me down. Put me down. Put me down." You continuously repeated over and over into Judal's ear, all the while holding onto him as much as you could. You really couldn't stand being so high up, especially when there was no way you could trust Judal to be smart enough not to drop you.
Your continuous repeating seemed to get to him when he finally shouted, "Shut up!"
Sighing, you decided just to say something else. "Sooooooooo~ Where are we going?" He didn't reply. You smiled to yourself and continued your one sided conversation. "I see, you don't know where to go. Well, don't you live in the palace? You are this empire's Magi or so you say."
"I can't take you to the palace! If Hakuruyuu sees you he'll know you're alive, so there is no way I'll risk taking you there!"
"Speaking of Hakuruyuu, is he still like he was?" You asked, kind of hoping he wasn't since you still felt a little blush on your cheeks thinking about him.
"What are you taking about now, (Name)?" He said seemingly irritated.
You paused for a moment, just staring at Judal before speaking. "I mean is he still obsessed enough to kidnap me?"
"He kidnapped you?!"
"You mean you didn't know that Hakuruyuu kidnapped me which caused me to unintentionally fake my death...?" You shook your head at him. "I can't believe you sometimes."
He kind of blushed with embarrassment before saying, "I guess I should have killed him a year ago then..."
You didn't take the word "kill" literally and just went along with it. "So you aren't going to kill him now, then?"
"Well you aren't dead! Besides, he is my king candidate now and there isn't any point to do it anymore. He thinks you're dead so he won't be in the way."
"I see..." Was he serious about killing Hakuruyuu?
Judal suddenly came to a stop and looked around for a second. You gave him a really really really long sigh as you realized why he had stopped. "We can just go to my house... and put me down now!"
"Like hell I will. I learned already that I can never give you any free rein, even if you are annoying!" There was an awkward silence for a short while until, "Well, where is it then?!"
You pointed him basically right back to where he had suddenly grabbed you, then you lead him to your house, all the while still on his freakin' shoulder!
You couldn't see the house as Judal entered, but you could hear him complaining. "What a dump. At least your crappier house had that peach tree as a slightly redeeming feature! I'll have to get this dumb shack fixed up to my standards." Ignoring his complaints, you struggled hoping he would put you down, until you heard, "Oh wait, this one had a redeeming factor too!" A few seconds later you heard the creaking open of that trapdoor as Judal began to climb down. He set you down fairly gently before climbing up and out. You tried to scramble out of there as the trapdoor was slammed shut in your face.
"Open up, Judal!" You shouted through the trapdoor. "You can't stand on this trapdoor forever! I know it doesn't have a lock!"
"I'm not standing on it! I froze it shut, idiot!" You kept banging and pushing against it while he continued talking. "I'll get a lock for it though and some better décor for this place. I'll change it to someplace worthy of me to come visit every single day and night! Don't worry, I'll be back before the ice melts." You heard something else about making sure all lamps weren't lit, before you the floor creaked as he left the house.
The room you were in was so dark that you couldn't even see your hand in front of you. You wanted to be out of this darkness, but no matter what nothing could be done about it. You just had to sit and wait for Judal to come back.
It didn't take an extremely long time before Judal returned, opened the trapdoor and pulled you out. As you were held tight in his arms, a lot of people came in to the building with all sorts of stuff, like furniture, cloth and drapery, bedding and pillows, and metal bars which you could only imagine what those were going to be for!
Before you could see what else was going to be brought in, Judal pulled you out of the house and carried back up into the skies.
"They can work on that. For now, how about we go collect some peaches from your older crappier house." You couldn't really disagree, so to your old house you both went. You were quite surprised that although the house was completely filthy with piled up dirt and dust, your old peach tree had been taken good care of.
Judal tossed you a peach from the tree before gobbling down one himself. You simply stared at yours, your cheeks sprinkled with pink, before taking a bite. By the time you finished your peach, Judal had already had his fill.
Eagerly, he grabbed you and pulled you onto the floor. You both looked up at the sky which was progressively getting darker. It surprised you when he hugged onto you tightly and whispered into your ear, "I still can't believe you're alive, (Name). I'm so glad."
As suddenly as he had said that, he went back to his normal self and got up off the floor before grabbing you. "Alright, time to go back!"
Upon your arrival, you couldn't help but notice the barred windows and door. As you both entered, it was filled with all sorts of nice junk you didn't care about and expensive incense burned. Judal, however brought you straight to the trapdoor. He first opened up the wooden door which revealed another door made from metal bars. He pulled it open too and, no matter how hard you struggled, forced you down into the newly furnished room. It was still dark though, however you couldn't find a lamp anywhere in sight.
Judal tossed you onto your bed before leaving and locking both the metal bar trapdoor and the wooden one. "Night!" You heard him call as you sat in utter disbelief at what was happening. Judal was seriously locking you up!
