"Ali, are you serious?" I said slurping my milkshake "You cannot just say that to people!"
"Okay, I admit it was mean, but she was hooking up with Johnny what else was I supposed to do?" she replied, stuffing her face with fries
"You are BROKEN UP! You need to understand that he has to get over your gorgeous face somehow" I sighed turning to Hayley "Right Hayley?"
"What?" She coughed up "Right yeah, listen Ali you have a beautiful face," she started to whisper "He had you on his mind whilst they were you know, getting it on"
All three of us laughed, this was probably the most fun we had in weeks. After Ali broke up with Johnny, she's been so upset and shut off from everyone, it's like she was a whole different person. Anyway, it was the last day of summer break and we had planned to go to the beach, we were at the diner to pass the time as we had hours until we planned to meet Susan and Barbra. I guess time went quickly as when I checked it was already 5 pm.
"It's already 5 pm, and I'm sure Susan and Barbra are already there," I said, getting up and fixing my shorts "I think it's time we get going"
Both girls then got up, as it was me driving them they sort of had to listen to me
"Well, let's all go!" Ali said "Last day as Juniors got to make it count"
All three of us then left to get into the car, I turned the radio on and started making the way to the beach.
As soon as we got there, we got out and it started to get dark. I stayed stood at the end of the beach, watching the sunset and admiring it.
"Bea, come on, we don't have much time till it gets dark!" Hayley shouted, being halfway along the beach
"I'm coming !" I said, running across the rocks and then making it to the warm sand
We then were met with Barbra and Susan, i then set my towel down and took my clothes off the reveal my bikini, soaking up the last bit of sun I could get.
After a few hours, all of us girls were just gossiping. I turn to my left to see Ali completely zoned out, staring at a certain brunette I had never seen before,
"Finally getting over King Karate hey?" I nudged her
Ali giggled, "I think so, don't you think he's cute"
"He alright, not my type but I'm sure he would be amazing for you," I said
She then turned to look at me "Nobody is your type! All of your exes look nothing like each other"
"Shut up and look, like destiny the football is coming over!" I giggled "Take the ball and give it back to him!"
She looked at the ball and looked at me, but before she could get a word in, the brunette was already here
