"WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP" I heard a familiar scream before getting smacked with a pillow, i grabbed the pillow before it could hit me a second time and threw it across the room, finally opening my eyes and sitting upright on my bed to face my sister
I let out a big yawn before saying "First day as a junior huh?"
"Oh you don't understand how excited I am!" she squealed before jumping around my room
"Okay okay, just get out of my room and let me get dressed" I groan
As my sister slams my door shut, I decide to get ready. I put on a red dress and a matching red headband, leaving my hair out. I make my way downstairs and see my mom sitting at the counter reading a newspaper,
"Anything good in that?" I ask, grabbing an apple from the fruit basket
She laughed in response "Not really, but Bea remember-"
"Remember the benefit dinner tomorrow night, it's important for your and dad's image" I finished her sentence "It's not like I've heard that every single day for the past 2 weeks"
"You must come, I'm just trying to not let you forget" she sighs looking up at me "Anyway, you're looking overdressed for your first day"
"No, I do not!" I say defending myself "I just want to make a good impression"
"Okay if you say so, drive safe darling rubes is already outside" she smiled
"Bye Mom!" I say before putting on my red flats and picking up my keys, heading outside
As I pull up into the parking lot, I see there are only a few spaces left. One of them being right next to a familiar group of bikes. I try to take a spot closest to me, but a white Mercedes takes it before me, I beep my horn and shout "SHITBAG". The person in the car flips me off as I drive off, I then have no choice but to park next to the motorcycles. I sigh and pull in,
"Come on rubes, out," I say
"Okay, love you Bea!" she says, grabbing her bag and blowing me a kiss
"Love you more" I smile back at her,
I get out of my car and lock it. I do admit, I wasn't the biggest fan of the cobra Kais but some of the lot were nice. For example, Jimmy and Bobby were my favourites, I had many classes with them last year and we got on pretty well. I'm just hoping nothing has changed this year, it seems like they're not as nice to everyone as they were last year, and it sort of scared me.
"Hey, Hayley!" I wave, looking at the girl facing her back to me, talking to some random boy. She then shooed him away before turning around, "Already looking for someone to dump after a week?"
She then lets out an awkward laugh "Of course not, well, I don't even-" She starts tripping over her words
"Never mind it" I giggle
"Oh thank god, I thought you were gonna kill me!" she sighs, relieved
The bell then rings, "I would never, see you later!"
"Loves ya!" she shouts
"Love ya more!" I shout back
After a few minutes of trying to find my class pushing past people in a busy hallway, I make it, but I'm late.
"Miss Phillips, deciding to join us now?" A lady I had never seen before said to me
"Sorry, but I was only trying to find my cla-"
"Don't want to hear it, you sat next to that boy in the back" She says, pointing at Daniel
I nod and make my way to my seat, putting my bag down and grabbing a sheet of paper laid out for me. As the new teacher blabs on about herself, I decide to make conversation,
"Take the glasses off and show me how bad it is" I whisper to him, he then shifts his head to me and sighs
"It looks worse than it is," he says, lifting them onto his head, I wince at the sight and put his glasses back on his eyes
"I don't even know what got into the boy, and I feel horrible, I wish I could do something" I sigh, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear
"It's fine, I've been through it. Oh and, I've got to thank you for driving me home last night, I thought I would have to walk" he gives me a genuine smile
I smile at him back "I always love to help, it's just my nature I guess"
"And what you said yesterday, about Ali, does she you know" he said, not managing to gather his words up
"Have a massive crush on you? The way she looks at you gives it all away" I giggle "Trust me on this Daniel, she like likes you"
"Do you think?" he asks "And oh my gosh I've been so rude, I don't even know your name.."
"It's Beatrice, but everyone calls me Bea" I smile "And I don't think, but I know she already loves you"
It was finally lunchtime, and I went to sit with Hayley and everyone else at our normal table. When I sit down, I don't notice Ali anywhere,
"Where Goldie locks?" I ask, sitting down
"She with Daniel, getting food," Susan says, picking at her fries
I pull out my apple and take small bites out of it, all of us catching up on our classes until the two love birds turn up at the table. Ali managed to sit down, but Johnny was even quicker to put a blueberry pie where the brunette was going to sit,
"Jerk!" Ali shouted slamming her tray on the table, making us all flinch
Johnny then let out a chuckle, his friends at the other table following "Better watch where you sit next time, probably your only pair of pants"
Daniel then got up and took the blueberry pie and looked Johnny dead in the eye,
"Don't even think about it, worm" Johnny snared
But before the boy could think, he smothered the blueberry pie on his light blue jumper. Johnnys' fists then clenched up and they started to fight, I had enough of this fighting by now so I dragged Hayley up and forced her to come to the cobra's table with me,
I then sat down next to Tommy and complained "Why don't you all leave that new boy alone, he's already had enough as it is!"
I glared at all of them before Dutch said "Admit it, it's funny"
"No, it is not, the poor boy only just joined" I sighed, then turned to Hayley who was behind me, "Right Hayley?"
She was too busy staring at Bobby who was trying to finish off his lunch, I gave her a nudge and she finally came back "What? Yeah you guys, it's horrible"
I rolled my eyes and got up leaving the table. It was no use, they were never going to leave him alone
