HARRY'S POV
The last month and a half in London, has been chaotic to say the least. even though Avery and I have been seeing each other at rehearsal, and texting each other nonstop when we're not in rehearsal, we really haven't seen each other outside of that.
That's why today I've invited her to come over to my house. I think we need time to talk just us, too about what the tour is going to be like, and see if I can answer any questions or worry she might have about the whole thing.
I can honestly say, I've never been happier than having Avery back in my life. taking the step and being together just feels right.
I quickly send her a text telling her to come over whenever, as I start to prepare for her arrival, gathering her favorite snacks ans her favorite wine. She responded saying she'll be here in 15 minutes.
As I am placing everything on the table in front of the TV in the living room, I hear the doorbell ring. Rushing like a madman to open the door anxious to see her. As soon as the door is open, I pull her into me. She immediately laughs and says. "It's not like we haven't seen each other H."
Pulling back from the hug, I respond "Yeah, but I haven't been able to act like I like you in front of everyone." Then I proceed to give her a peck on the lips, and gesture her inside.
As I walk her into the living room, I can see a look of appreciation on her face for all the things I got for our movie night. She places her bag at the end of the couch, and takes the spot in the middle and beckons me to sit next to her. blushing slightly, I ask her "So do you like it?"
Placing another kiss on my lips, she says "I love it H. You really are the sweetest."
"Noting Hill okay?"
"You know me so well."
Throughout the first hour of the movie, I can see Avery nervously twiddling her thumbs, and shifting uncomfortably. After a while, I decide to ask her what's the matter.
"If I'm being quite honest, I'm just nervous about going on tour and being away for so long." She says
"Av, there isn't much that I can tell you but, its something you have to take day by day. I'm not gonna lie it's not the easiest at first, but with the support team we have, we can get through anything. The beginning is the hardest but once you get used to it, it's actually really fun. And remember you always have me and Lily will be there too."
"Yeah I know its just scary you know?"
"I know darling." I say pulling her into me, and rubbing her back comfortingly "We have a ton of breaks, in which you can come home, so that will help. I'm always there okay? someday it will get overwhelming but on those days all you need is a good cry, and together we can get through anything."
"Thanks H." she says into my ear not wanting to let go.
We stay like this for a while until Avery gets up to use the bathroom. while she's in the bathroom, I just sit on the couch scrolling through my phone. I guess I'm distracted by it that I don't hear a walk.
