I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. With my eyes still closed I reached on my end table and hit the answer button putting the phone to my ear. "Hello." I said in a groggy voice. "Hey Hunter." Sky's voice rang in my ear.
"Hey Sky Sky whats up?"
"Nothing just bored. Wanna hang out?"
"Sure but I have to cancel on movie night tonight. Im sorry, can I take a rain check?"
His voice faded from happy to sad.
"Yea. That's okay."
I sat up in bed and sighed. "Sky Sky...You okay?"
"Maybe...."
"Sky... Tell me.. Please."
"Its nothing Hunter. Im fine... I promise." He paused between 'Im fine' and 'I promise' which ment something was wrong.
"I'll be over in about an hour okay? I hope your okay."
"Im fine and okay I'll see you soon."
"Bye Sky Sky."
"Bye Hunter.. See you soon."
After he hung up the phone I got dressed. I put on my Blink 182 t-shirt,ripped black skinny jeans,combat boots and my black studded leather jacket. I rode to the Starbucks closest to Sky's and got us coffee and some snacks since it was only 9:30 in the morning. I opened Sky's front door to see him working on his paperwork for school. Sky was a collage student at UWGB (Universty of Wisconsin Green Bay) He took the same major as I did which was a English Major. I graduated High School at 16.. Dont ask how I did it just say I did. I got into collage just after I graduated and I just fished my forth year in collage last fall. Sky is on his last year of collage but he does online collage like I did. We both watched live videos of the instructors and what they were teaching.
"Hey Sky Sky. I brought you a Double Mocha Frappuchino with Extra Whip Cream and sprinkles on top and a piece of Strawberry Cheese Cake from Starbucks because I suppose you havent ate at all yet." I said as I put his food and drink infront of him and Sky smiled. "Thanks Hunter and no I havent eaten yet so thank you." Sky said and I smiled. We ate our food together and sat and watched 2 movies 'The Babadook and Carrie' Sky knows Im into thriller movies but he hates them. He screamed like a little girl. At 5 my phone vibrated. I looked at it and it was Michael.
M-Hey Hunter, remeber to be here. See you soon. :D
Oh shit thats right! Tonight is my due over meet up with Michael at the Arrendale Hotel. Its 5 and I have to be ther by 6.. Its almost an hour drive down there. Shit..
"Sky Sky.. I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow." I said as I got up and kissed his forehead before leaving his house and began driving to the hotel. There wasnt much traffic so I got there at about 5:43. I looked back on Michael's texts on what they told me to do when I got here. I walked in the front door to a fresh smelling sent. It smelt like Lilacs and Vanilla. I went up to the front desk and saw a lady working behind a computer. She looked at me and smiled. She had a bright smile, red hair that passed right over her shoulders and beautiful blue eyes. She was very pretty.
"Hi. My name is Monica. How may I help you?" She said and I smiled back.
"Yes. Hi, my name is Hunter Miller and Im here to see Michael Clifford on the roof of the building. He told me to tell you that."
She smiled and nodded and laughed abit. "Yes Michael did tell me you would be coming by. He has a big surprise for you set up on the roof. Right this way." Monica said as she lead me to the elevator. What did she mean by Big Surprise? Michael told me not to dress to fancy but just in a t-shirt and jeans.. What the hell is that boy up to?
