Lightbulb smiled at the message she read on her phone. She was talking to Paintbrush about plans to hang out tomorrow, and they had just agreed on place to meet up. They sent their goodnights to each other and Lightbulb set her phone on the bedside table. She glanced at the alarm clock next to her phone, which read 11:23 PM. She yawned and pulled the blankets over her, resting her head on the pillow.
"G'night Test Tube" She called out sleepily to her roommate.
"Huh?" Test Tube looked up from where she was sitting on her bed. She looked back to her laptop. "Oh, it's already 11."
"Sure is" Lightbulb said
"I'm gonna stay up a bit longer and do some more researching." Test Tube replied.
Lightbulb blinked, taking a second to register what her friend said. "Alright, just don't ruin your sleep schedule." She said lightly, turning onto her back and closing her eyes.
"No promises" She heard Test Tube joke, before dozing off to sleep.
