Trigger warnings: Kidnapping, electrocution, mild injury
Baseball awoke to the feeling of movement. He slowly blinked open his eyes to see a gray ceiling greeting him from above. The back of his knees felt numb as his legs dangled over some sort of ledge, and his back felt cold on the hard surface he was lying on. He pulled his legs back in and shifted upwards, trying to make sense of where he was. He recognized the squeaking of wheels and looked down to see he was sitting in a red wagon. He looked around frantically at his surroundings and saw he was in a dark gray hallway, with doors lining the walls.
He suddenly realized that if the wagon was moving, there must be someone pulling it along. He started to turn around to look at who was on the other side, but stopped when he saw someone familiar lying beside him in the wagon. It was Lightbulb, and she seemed to still be asleep. He glanced up and saw who was pulling the wagon along.
"Test Tube?"
The wagon abruptly stopped moving, but Test Tube didn't say anything. Baseball stared at her for several uncomfortable moments, wondering if he should do something. He didn't know what was going on, and Test Tube was perfectly still, just holding onto the wagon handle and staring out into nothingness.
Baseball was about to speak up again before Test Tube dropped the wagon handle and started walking around the wagon. She stopped in front of him and pulled a syringe out of her coat pocket. Baseball's eyes widened and he tried to scoot back, but Test Tube quickly grabbed him and injected him with the mysterious liquid. Within seconds, he passed out again.
As Baseball awoke a second time, he noticed he was in a different environment. The walls and floor were covered in a white padding, and there was nothing in the room. There was a door on the wall parallel to him, which had a screen window. He looked down and saw there was a shock collar securely fastened on his leg. Lightbulb was lying next to him again and was just starting to wake up.
"Wh.. where am I...? Baseball?" Lightbulb mumbled, sitting up and rubbing her eyes. Baseball noticed the same type of shock collar on her leg as well.
"I don't know..." Baseball replied.
They heard a click as the door across from them unlocked and opened. Just outside of the room they saw Test Tube, and Baseball suddenly remembered what happened on the wagon.
"Why did you bring us here?" Baseball asked bluntly. Lightbulb looked at him with a confused expression, but he held his gaze firm on Test Tube. He knew something was extremely wrong about this.
"Oh, so you didn't forget about that." Test Tube observed. "No worries, you'd've found out anyway. let's cut to the chase- you two are going to be here for quite a while. I've brought you here to run a long series of experiments on you both."
"What??" Lightbulb exclaimed.
Baseball stood up and took a couple steps towards Test Tube, trying to seem intimidating.
"We're not your lab rats! you can't just keep us here!"
"Of course I can. Nobody's going to stop me. anyhow, I'll leave you to get accustomed to this room for a bit- you'll be here a lot." Test Tube exited the room and locked the door again, leaving Lightbulb and Baseball alone.
Baseball ran over to the door after it locked, crashing against it repeatedly.
"LET US OUT OF HERE!!"
He went at it for a few minutes, trying to either get a response from Test Tube or just knock the door down. Soon enough, Test Tube returned, but didn't enter the room.
