Why are you telling me this," I asked looking at Father. There had to be a reason why he told me this now.


"Because our enemies are after you.", Father said which made me look at him with shock


I've read so many mafia books before that I think I know where they are headed and that is why the Russo family is here.


"And why is the Russo family here?" I looked at Mallory who fell asleep on Elijah's shoulder


"I asked them to help they can protect you better than I can right now you have to have an arranged marriage with Elijah so are mafia join together and you live with them I can't protect you here anymore it's just not safe.", Father said


I knew it sometimes in Mafia Books They have to get married for their protection but they end up kidnapped regardless


"But father no matter what..." I tried to talk but he cut me off with his hand "I already know." He said looking at mother


"The paper is already signed by Elijah, you just have to." Mother said putting pieces of paper. This is happening


"I don't get time to think about, it," I asked


"We need to have you protected as soon as possible," Maxwell said


"What about Christmas? I asked looking at my father 

It's still 2 months away." He said


"Ye, ah, which means decorating time is here." Father shook his head


"It's October and we don't decorate till late November." He said


"So I don't care you can judge me all you want but Christmas is the best time of year. I'm not doing this stupid marriage because no matter what I can end up kidnapped. So no, I'm not doing it. I don't care if you're upset, it's my life, my choice." I said getting up and moving to the door


Before I could turn the knob Elijah spoke "Your right it is your choice but your Father is just trying to protect you."


"I don't need protecting" I fired back
