Chapter 16

i get a ride from Austin to school

I walk in and the first thing my eyes land on is a poster . I walk to it , turns out , there is a talent show in two weeks .

Well , the only thing im talented at is reading, A lot, A LOT of reading.
Playing the guitar...(stupid grin)
*cricket cricket*
And it finally makes its way to the brain

Ryan can play the guitar and i can sing !

i tell him in the hallway once i found him

"cool ! we will win this show"

we hug for a second after we realize what we are doing and let go , he leaves and i stay there smilling like an idiot for a few seconds until i get stares from other people

i rush to math, which basically the most lonely class ever , no Ann , no Mackenzie , AND NO RYAN

atleast it over quickly !

i try to find my people and tell them my idea to them. while im walking and get glares full of hatred in everyone's eyes, every girl with a boyfriend is behind her guy. once i turn i find people talking and staring, at me. What have i done ?

Then i hear a shout from the back

"Boyfriend snatching much , Jenniefer?"

What ?
" this woman here, ladies and gentlemen, made scarlette' boyfriend cheat on her!" Says Roger , one of the jocks here
"What ?" I ask , confused.
"Dont play innocent, Jennie," he says , while he brushed a hair that was loose
I slap his hand away
"Easy, little puppy"
"Dont call me puppy" i say firmly through gritted teeth
"Why, wasnt that how Ryan called you ?"
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"We all know your secret Jenniefer"
"What secret?"
"Dont play innocent with us , Scarlette, told us everything"

Of course! It was Scarlette!
Why didn't i know ?
I run away slowly tearing up until Ann bumped into me and held me in her arms

"What happened to you ?"
I look into her green eyes with a painful look , and being the best friend she is , she understood it directly what was wrong
"Oh no, you got the rumors?"
I nod
"I didn't believe one bit of it "
"Thanks Ann"
"Im your best friend "
Ryan find us snd and he has the same shocked look on his face
"What's wrong?"
Ann tells him the whole thing since she knew more about it than me
"What the heck ?"
We both nod
"I always knew that girl was up to no good !"

"We are just friends" he says to Ann
I flinch for quarter of a second,yet ann still picks it up the rest of the day passes and i still get glares from all couples in the school i head home , slam the door , which makes Austin jump a little from his seat
"Hey.. Blueberry"
I just ignore him and run up to my room and slam my door i lay in my bed and just fall asleep
