Eleanor's Plan

A month later...

Eleanor had invited Amelia and Evonne for a tea party. She had also invited Serena and Selena but Serena had to visit the countryside while Selena said that she already had some plans.

So today, Amelia and Evonne arrived at the Palace in their carriages and walked in as Eleanor's guard guided them towards the Imperial garden where she was waiting for them.

As soon as they saw each other, all three of them ran towards each other and had a group hug, for they had now become close friends.

"Thanks for accepting my invite!" Eleanor says while smiling. Amelia and Evonne giggle, "We're so glad that you invited us!" "Come, have a seat!" All three sit as they then start chatting about everything.

After an hour or so...

"You know, nowadays I cannot control myself. Jack is so cute!!!" Amelia exclaims as Eleanor and Evonne burst laughing.

"Then why don't you confess? I'm sure he would accept." Eleanor says as Evonne nods, "He talks about you always with a bright smile plastered on his face."

Amelia giggles but then sighs, "I want to... but I don't know how brother will react..." "You mean Bruce?" Eleanor asks as Amelia nods.

Eleanor sighs and says, "I think he should let you do whatever you want... Since it's your choice..." Amelia sighs. Evonne then says, "I actually feel like confessing..."

"To Bruce?!" "To Brother?!" Eleanor and Amelia ask as she nods, "I mean... I realised that I love him... a lot... so much that I can't get him out of my mind..."

Amelia says "Aww..." while Eleanor thinks for a while and then suggests, "Girls, I have a plan... Wanna hear?"

Both Amelia and Evonne lean closer as they wait curiously to hear what Eleanor has in her mind.

After 2 weeks...

"Let's have some fun today!!!" Nicholas says excitedly as Amelia and Evonne scream, "Yeah!!!!"

Evonne drags both Jack and Eleanor while Amelia drags Bruce and Serena as Nicholas drags Henry and James.

All of them are at the Callista's private garden. Eleanor, Amelia and Evonne had decided to hangout with everyone today as a part of Eleanor's plan.

"So what are we gonna do?" James asks as they all sit in a circle. Eleanor replies, "Have a sort of picnic party? I brought champagne!" She smiles as she sits in between Henry and Bruce.

"Jack and Nicholas will sing!" Serena says as they both jump and get ready to sing. The beautiful melody can be heard in the garden as all are enjoying together.

Henry and Eleanor sitting so close to each other, James' eyebrows twitching at the scene, Amelia rooting for Jack and Evonne taking quick glances at Bruce, Serena singing along with Nicholas and Jack.

"Let's dance!" Amelia says as she pulls Eleanor. "Me? No way! I'm not dancing here!" Eleanor says nervously as Evonne says, "C'mon! Let's dance to some jazz!!"

Eleanor then sighs as the three of them start dancing. Serena and Nicholas start cheering for them as Henry, James, Bruce and Jack look at the girls with admiration.

"Where are Julios and Selena?" Nicholas asks Serena as she shrugs, "Haven't seen them since morning."

After an hour or so, all are just walking around in the garden in groups. Eleanor, Bruce, Jack and Amelia are walking together in one direction.

Amelia and Eleanor glance at each other, signalling something, as Bruce notices it but doesn't say anything.

"Uh- I'm tired!" Eleanor says as she sits on a rock while sighing. Jack says, "Oh... Then you should rest a bit."

"Brother, you stay with Eleanor, you must be tired too. I and Jack will go ahead!" Amelia says.

Bruce is about to say something but gets cut off as Eleanor pulls him and makes him sit beside her, "Yeah I don't wanna stay here alone..." She says while eyeing him to keep quiet.

He raises an eyebrow at her but then ends up keeping quiet. Amelia winks at Eleanor as she pulls Jack and walks away. Eleanor smiles while looking at Jack and Amelia walk away.

"Why did you let them go alone?" Bruce asks as she sighs, "Amelia has feelings for Jack..." "What?! Are you serious?! Then I need to stop-"

"Don't you dare interfere." Eleanor says while glaring at him, "It's her life. She gets to decide who she wants to be with. So let her do whatever she wants and stop disturbing them!" She says as he keeps quiet for a minute.

Then he sighs and says, "You're right... I am being too overprotective..." She sighs and then smiles while patting his back, "It's alright, I know you just want the best for her."

He sighs and smiles back. She then gets up and stretches her arms. "Where are you going?" Bruce asks while looking confused.

She turns to look at him and chuckles, "Hmm... for a walk?" "A walk? You wanted to sit here for a while, didn't you?" He asks while frowning.

She puts on a playful smile and replies, "Well... you see... there's someone waiting for you..." He looks at her with surprise and confusion, "Waiting for me?"

She smiles and puts both her hands on his shoulders, "Listen. Don't think of anything else, like the consequences. Just do what your heart tells you to do, alright?"

He looks totally confused, "What do you mean-" "I better get going now! Bye, and I want good news later!" She says as she winks at him and then runs away into the garden.

Bruce just sits there while looking puzzled, "Good news? Listen to your heart? What did she even mean-"

"Bruce." He turns to see Evonne walking towards him, a bit shyly. Now he understands what Eleanor actually meant.
