"SO, THERE'S A secret bonfire for counselors that happens at night for..." Celia tried to recall the excuse that she had been told later in her cabin with Tommy by her side, "Team bonding?"

"Yes." Tommy approved, looking over the cabin a bit.

Okay... She gave him an untrusting look, "And certainly not for the alcohol or whatever drugs Alice is bringing?" Celia suggested, tilting her head slightly. Alice was a Shadyside counselor, and one of Celia's limited other friends. The girl was usually on something, pills that she tried to give to Celia. Sometimes, she gave in, even if she didn't want to.

Tommy thought for a second before slowly nodding, "Yes."

"And we're all invited?" Celia blinked at him, "This isn't a separating Sunnyvale and Shadyside thing?" Kurt, the head counselor, didn't seem like he'd want to do such. Kurt was a proud Sunnyvaler, taking any chance he could to look down on Shadysiders.

"All counselors." Tommy repeated, "So yes."

"Weird. I thought Kurt would've done anything to keep us apart." Celia lightly picked at her bedsheet, finding it to be low quality compared to the other ones in her cabin.

"It's been a tradition for a while. Since the Settlement, I guess." Tommy shrugged, leaning against the wall, "Happened ever since I was here."

Celia thought for a few seconds before inquiring, "Is it mandatory? I'd like to sleep."

"It's recommended. Strongly." Tommy gave her a pointed look, telling her that it was, in fact, mandatory in his Tommy way.

She furrowed her eyebrows, leaning back on her bed. She sunk into the cushion, finding it uncomfortable. But if she spent all day using all her energy, it might just do the trick of putting her to sleep, "I'm being forced to party?" Celia mused.

Tommy grinned boyishly, "I guess."

Celia stared up at the wooden boards that covered the ceiling. "When am I supposed to leave my room? Where is it? I don't even know anything! Does he just expect us to know?"

"I'll come pick you up from your room, then we'll get Cindy together. I would've sent Alice but I don't know if she'd actually get you." Tommy laughed a bit, despite the sensitive topic.

Celia rolled around, smushing her face into the pillow as she loudly grumbled, "She wouldn't."

Tommy took a deep breath at his friend's attitude, "It'll be fine." He assured.
