"*yawn* just a few more files to go and I can finally go home" You mumbled to yourself in your shared office, all of the other cubicles pitch black having only the small light from your desk and your computer screen lighting up the dark, quiet room. Until the utter silence was broken by your ringtone making your body jump from the sudden noise, the name of the caller displayed as 'Navs 💛'
"Wha—"
"HEY GIRL~!" you shoved your phone as far away from your ear as you could, startled by the tone of your enthusiastic friend
"Hi Navia" you replied while returning to your work
"Wow you sound rough, something happen?" she asked kind of worried
"Just work, I've been so exhausted these days" you rub your temples before selecting the file you were editing and sending it to the head manager "I'm trying to work overtime to get a few days off for the holiday"
"Ahh, I see" Navia nervously fidgeted with her nails on the other side of the phone, unable to muster the words she wanted to say
"Are you okay Navia-?" you were cut off yet again by your friend
"*ugh* No! I swear my dad is trying to kill me Y/n!! Like, things with this girl I met are finally getting somewhere and he sets me up on another one of those blind dates! He keeps going on and on about how I need to marry someone" she paces around her room
You send the last file to your manager and let out a sigh of relief before returning your attention to your desperate friend "Shit, that must be tough.. Still didn't manage to come out to him yet?"
"Nope" Navia making a 'pop' sound at the end of the word "I don't think its the right time, he's dealing with a lot of drama with the other spoiled models and I don't want him to worry even more" Navia plops her body down on her fur couch on the other side of the line, meanwhile you were grabbing your things and closing off your shared office in order to go home, you heard Navia clear her throat through the phone "Which is why I need you to do me a super huge favor for me"
*she really doesn't know how to hide when she needs help* you though while locking up the office and walking in the direction of the elevator, you smiled "Of course I'll help you Navia, you've done so much for me the last i could do is help you too" poor little you weren't even aware of what would come out of your friend.
"I need you to go on my blind date disguised as me" she confidently spoke
"Absolutely not" you replied in a nonchalant tone
"WHA- YOU SAID YOU'D DO IT" she whined, kicking her feet like a child whose mom didn't buy a toy they wanted
"WELL I DIDNT THINK THAT WOULD BE YOUR FAVOR! Its identity theft Navia" you heard the sound of the elevator arriving, and stepping inside, nodding your head to the man who was inside the elevator with you
"Y/n pleeeeease" she pleaded with you "Do it for meeee please" she said making puppy dog eyes you wouldn't be able to see
"That's even less of a reason for me to do it" you placed your hand on you hip and got off the elevator in order to exit the building
"*scoff* Fuck you Y/n!" she got even more desperate hearing you laugh from the phone "I- I'll... I'll help you pay off the rest of your student debts!!"
Navia's words made you pause in your tracks "Navia that's too much... it's 80.000 mora-"
"I'll pay it all!!! Just please Y/nnn I need your help" Navia almost crying on the other side of the line
"I'll do it."
