"There they are" Somi whispered to the girl, turning all their attention to the group of boys in varsity jackets who took the table that was reserved for them, not too far away from the girls.
"Chenle looks so good" Ningning said with a hopeless voice, falling for the aura of the boy who was conversing with Jisung over something probably trivial
"I'm gonna go say hi" Arin smirked, getting up for her chair at the bar area that was starting to crowd up with people, some even asking for pictures with Winter.
"Good luck soldier" Somi said, saluting her off and she saluted back, walking over the the boy's table, instantly catching the eyes of Haechan and Jaemin who secretly paid the most attention to her since her arrival.
She smirked as she caught Haechan's eye, lips turning up at the corner as he slowly took a swig of his beer, eyes lowering to her body. She swung her hips to whatever beat was playing in the back, enticing him further. And she found her target.
"Good to see you boys here" She said, making her voice as sweet as honey, looking away from Haechan's eyes to now greet the other boys who looked at her, Jaemin, Mark and Jeno finding it the hardest to keep their eyes looking at everything but her well exposed torso
"Good to see you too, you wanna sit down?" Jaemin asked, standing up to grab a spare chair but she shook her head
"I'm with the girls tonight" She said, tilting her head to the side with a pout playing on her lips and Jeno almost felt his blood boil at the way the guys from the neighbouring tables were eating her up with their eyes
"I just wanted to come say hi and good luck for the performance" She said, a sickeningly sweet smile taking over her lips
"Thanks bro, appreciate it" Mark said, and her smile almost faltered at the immediate brozone. Was she so far gone the point of being a woman to them? She was almost about to give up, until she turned her attention back to Haechan, who wasn't even trying to hide the the fact that he was eyeing her, especially with his best friend Jeno right across from him.
He was ballsy, and she knew he would be the one to break the bro code. Morals and ethics didn't strike her as something that he was concerned about. He was a hedonist at heart.
"Anyway, we should get together tonight—"
"Like an orgy?" Mark asked butting in, his mind now residing in the gutter as his thoughts gave up on him. Haechan snickered from his side, trying to hide his amusement as Jeno shot the two boys a glare, realising exactly why they were acting immature.
"I meant like...for drinks" she said with a chuckle, knowing the brozone was now a cover up for how they really viewed her
"Sounds good" Jaemin said, nodding at the suggestion, internally happy that she was trying to get the group to bond, oblivious to her underlying intentions
"Can I invite the girls too?" She suggested and his smile faltered slowly.
"Oh...I don't think that's such a good idea-"
"I know you guys fucked and all but, come on, can't we all just move past it tonight? Fresh start" She suggested and he hesitantly nodded, not finding it inside him to say no to her
"First up on stage, to start opening night, we have...Winter, singing her new song 'You better not', let's give her a round of applause!" The MC said, catching everyone's attention
"Catch you guys later!" Arin said, rushing back to her table with the girls
"How'd it go?" Somi asked with a smirk, as she watched the boys' eyes follow Arin's body as she walked away from them
"We're having drinks tonight with the boys, please come" she said making her smile fall
"We're in!" Ningning said happily
"Absolutely not!" Aeri protested, not liking the idea of seeing Jeno again after she embarrassingly slept with him after falling for his fuckboy tactics
"Well too bad, I already said you'd come" Arin smiled, and before she could be pelted with stones, Winter started singing.

Arin smiled a sad smile as the lyrics of Minjeong's song struck a chord with her. An older version of her resonated with the lyrics, the song and its perfect upbeat melody described the feeling she had felt all summer, wanting to move on and no longer have a person she was once in love with influencing her every move, emotion or thought.
Her eyes wandered to the boys who were standing up from their seats, finishing their drinks quickly and heading backstage, greeting fellow college mates who came to support them on their next performance.
Her eyes turned back to Minjeong who was now giving her ending sentiment, thanking everyone who came to support her tonight and bowing to the crowd respectfully before she heading backstage with her electric guitar. Dejun, another exchange student, friend of Ningning, who helped her perform, with his acoustic guitar followed behind her.
"Wow! What an amazing performance yet again! I can just tell the battle of the bands this year is going to be intense if we're starting of with that! Now, let's give it up for the band who has an established presence here...7DREAM!" The MC said excitedly as if he had just downed three cans of monsters. The audience clapped for the boys who came onto the stage, skin being highlighted by the yellow hues of the ambient light bulbs around them.
They approached their respective instruments, Chenle was the pianist, Jisung was the drummer, Mark played the acoustic guitar, Jeno got the bass and Jaemic got the electric. Renjun grabbed the second acoustic, leaving Haechan with the other electric even though the two were mainly vocalists.
Mark was the first to speak, introducing the group—even though there wasn't much need to since everyone either knew of them or slept with them—
"Thank you guys again for coming tonight, we hope you enjoy our new song Broken Melodies, it's a song we wrote about missing someone who's far away, I'm sure we've all felt it at least once in our lives" Mark said, getting into his position for the song as the tune started to play
