[It was the middle of the afternoon in Big City, and inside Elkins Apartment, Antwon was reading a book about the "Euclidean Quantum Gravity," while his sisters (Leanne and Shannon) are watching a Disney Channel cartoon called "Amphibia" on the television while being preoccupied. Antwon puts down his book as he turned to the camera.]

Antwon: Here in the apartment rules, our family have this traditional meaning of "getting the door." It is very consistent in so many ways and it represents the balance of answering to check who's there or not, and it's also relates to us older siblings like Leanne and I. For example; when both of us are in a competitive race to see who get the door first and our hands are synchronicity touched by the doorknob, then otherwise all bets are off.

[He continued reading his book when suddenly he and his sisters heard a knock on the door.]

Leanne: Antwon...

Antwon: Leanne...

Antwon and Leanne [in unison]: Can you please get the door? [Surprised in realization] What?! Wait a minute.... why do I have to get the door?! Stop copy me! Sea shells, sea shells down by the sea shore! Ugh whatever, I'm just gonna go get the door!

[They both got up at the same time as they race to the door.]

Shannon: [sighed] Didn't see that one coming...

[Shannon continues watching cartoons on the television, as she laughs.]

Shannon: Aw Sprig, you know that jalapenos are red spicy for your digestion. You're so cold-blooded and silly!

Antwon and Leanne [in unison]: I'll get it! No fair! I said I'm gonna go open the door!

[Antwon and Leanne both put their hands on the door as they began to fight while the knob turned lighty. The door is open to see Cricket and his family in an awkward situation whereas they come across Antwon and Leanne were still fighting over the doorknob.]

Antwon and Leanne [in unison]: I win! No, I win! I want a rematch!

Cricket: [confused] Uh, hey Antwon... is this a bad time?

Antwon: Huh...? [He snapped out of it as he turned to the Green Family in a "urban-like" greeting] Oh, "Salutations fellow Green Family!" or as we like to say in urban hood greeting from the south side of Newark, "Ayo! What is up my homie "G" fam?"

[The Green Family literally looked up at the ceiling, and then looked back at the comedic boy genius.]

Cricket: Uh, the ceilin'?

[Cricket joked, while Antwon and Leanne are stunned in confusion, knowing fully well that they don't understand about black American urban culture.]

Antwon: [He turned to the camera] Did you guys really hear that? It all started yesterday I became their first new neighbor, and now they don't understand our urban culture. I really gotta educate them in a particular matter, and it's a good thing I exist because the all-high himself received me a big brain for my frail body, it's great to be the "solo" boy genius in this family but sometimes it has its own disadvantages on normal plebeians. [He turned back to Cricket as he explained] It's a slang expression dude. You see back in my hometown, our heritage used the definitive linguistic and paralinguistic features which on a concentric continuum represent the communicative competence of the West African, Caribbean, and United States slave descendants of African origin. Or in lament terms... we use the key phrase "Ebonics."

Cricket: Oh okay... then what's up to you too!

[Antwon playfully rolled his eyes with a smile as Leanne asked him in a whisper.]

Leanne: Antwon, who in the world are these people? Their skin condition is like an immunity disorder to a color dye jellybean.

Antwon: Oh, I forgot to inform you about them. Leanne this is Cricket, his older sister Tilly, their father/legal guardian Bill, and their Grandmother Alice. They are the Green Family, you remember, the country family and recent next-door neighbors whom I first met yesterday?
