I looked at my phone as I heard a notification. She messaged me. I grabbed my phone and hovered over her text message. "What are you doing Jann?" My dad asked. "I-" I paused and sighed lightly, "Just checking something." I noticed my younger brother peeking over at my phone and I quickly moved it away. He scoffed and moved away. I typed out Hello into the message bar. I didn't know if I should even message back. I can't just leave her on read, but would it be weird if I did answer? I heard the little voice in my head tell me to just do it already. I stared at the message for a moment as my finger lingered over the send button. I thought to myself, What's the worst that could happen? It couldn't be that bad. I clicked the button slightly nervous. God, when did I get bad at this?

I picked up my phone and opened his message, I was kind of freaking out. I mean this guy is big. Like he's verified. And he's talking to me? This is crazy. As I read over his message over and over I began to analyze it. He just said Hello, no period exclamation mark nothing. This could be him being dry or trying to keep the conversation open. Probably the first one. Adley, why would he talk to you? He probably thinks you're just some weird fangirl. I sighed and threw my phone next to me on my bed. I stared at my ceiling for a moment and then reached for my phone next to me and just started taking pictures because it helps I swear. (Try it some time I swear it does.) After I took a couple of pictures I sighed and rubbed my face with my hands. "God..What am I doing?"
