It had been about an hour since I got a text from him and I was on the phone with Izzie debating on what I should say back. I couldn't just leave him on read because I started the conversation. I can't just be like "Hey!" and then leave.

After much hesitation, I finally answered with a mere "hru??" I felt like it was awkward, I spent so much time debating whether I should put one or two question marks. I still couldn't believe this was happening. Like a guy who I saw at a cafe, who I didn't even talk to, is messaging me right now. Does he know that I saw him at a cafe? Did he see me in the cafe? God, when did I get bad at this?

I looked down at my phone when I heard a ping, It was her. It had been about an hour and me and my family were just talking around the table so I opened it it said "hru??" she added to question marks..hm. I mean what if this girl doesn't remember me what if she's just a fan and didn't see me at the restaurant or what if she just stumbled across my page? I saw her at a cafe and I didn't even speak to her. And now we are texting on Instagram?

After stopping myself from overthinking this entire interaction I finally typed out "Good, and you?" I sent it without too much hesitation I mean it isn't that bad. Usually there is hesitation but this is just small talk.
