It's been five days since the Eight foot tall case and Kumiko and Sukehiro haven't talked to each other yet. She has been trying to say sorry for what she said five days ago but the last time she saw Kumiko was yesterday and he just told her that a friend just called him she knows that he just made excuses, and that's why she called Shirogane to ask what he does with the other detectives.
"Oh, Sukehiro-san? Why did you call so suddenly?" Shirogane asked while drawing on his sketchbook.
"Oh Shirogane-san, Sorry for this but is it ok if we talk?" Sukehiro asked.
"Yeah It's fine I'm just fiddling around anyway," Shirogane said looking at his spacecraft drawing.
"I just wanna know how Kumiko acts with the other detectives?" Sukehiro asked.
Her question caught Shirogane by surprise because the vibe he felt around Sukehiro was an all-knowing childhood best friend. Still, it turns out she doesn't know the first thing about Kumiko's mask which he had worn ever since that incident that happened 3 years ago, that's why Shirogane was so surprised that he turned silent.
"Hey, Shirogane=san, still there?" Sukehiro asked.
"Nothing just surprised that's all because you kept boasting that you know him better than us." Shirogane teased.
"Am not!" Sukehiro answered embarrassed.
"Just kidding, just kidding, about Kumiko when he's with the others right?" Shirogane asked for confirmation.
"Yeah, can you please tell me?" Sukehiro replied.
"Well, he is..."
After they talked for about three minutes Sukehiro was going to end the call but before she could Shirogane said something that made Sukehiro nervous.
"Oh yeah before you hang up I have something to say," Shirogane said, stopping Sukehiro in her tracks.
"Yeah, what is it?" Sukehiro asked.
"Apologize as soon as you can. Among all the four of us, he's the type of person who forgets people that has done thing to him the fastest so apologize as soon as you can." Shirogane warned her."Y-yeah got it" Sukehiro replied nervously.
While they were talking, Kumiko, Mikami, and Aizawa were inside a famous hotel. Aizawa's dad Yoshikawa Aizawa owns Yume no Shima and many other hotels under his belt which surprised Mikami.
"This place is a five-star hotel right?! Can we really stay here for the night?!" Mikami hesitantly asked.
"His dad owns the place so it's fine," Kumiko replied.
"Oh yeah, since you already know where we're staying for the night can you two please accompany me to pick up Naomi?" Aizawa asked.
"Sure but, does she know about this? I mean..."
"Don't worry, Naomi's the one next in line to inherit their family business," Kumiko said while typing on his phone.
"Damn, she ain't active. And here I thought we could talk for a while." Kumiko thought.
"Anyway, Kumiko. Let's explain to him who Naomi is on the way there. The car is waiting.."
"This idiot needs to stop flexing." Kumiko thought.
On the way to Naomi, they explained that Naomi is the heir of the Suzuki Conglomerate. They told him that at the early age of 7, she mastered Algebra and memorized pi which shocked Mikami because he doesn't even know what comes after 3.14. At 10:46 they arrived at the Suzuki Conglomerate.
"Man, how should I say this, Ummm... It's big as heck! You can probably fit our whole school here and it won't even be so crowded!" Mikami said surprised.
