Chapter 3

last day of the camp....

it was finally the last day of the camp. We enjoyed it so damn much. although our body aches due to all those exercises and parade practices. but we did many exciting activities too like paragliding, trekking, and zorbing, we even watched a movie on the ground! and since it's a trip with my school friends, it is indeed the best memory of the year for me to remember.

Today, as the last day, it was a parade competition between the boys and the girls and of course, we girls were the winners. not only because we did good but also because we were more disciplined than the boys (which is something obvious).

in the evening, we're going to have a Party to celebrate our 4 days!! I'm so very excited for the night as the boys and the girls are going to party together. yes, finally there are no restrictions on meeting with them!

"Fuckkkk!! I totally forgot about the party. I didn't bring any clothes for that!!!! what am I going to wear now!!" Anannya exclaimed.

none of us were very surprised as it was her. She constantly keeps forgetting about things. So, for the next 30 minutes, were asking other girls if any of them were having an extra pair of clothes for her to borrow.

Finally, we got a white shirt and blue jeans for her.

I was wearing a pink top with a blue denim jacket and jeans.

Anshika was in her baggy clothes and Prisha was in her lavender crop top with baggy jeans.

We all looked great, but Anannya was somehow looking the best among the four of us.

but there was one thing we were excited about.... Dhruv was going to propose to Anannya! Yes, he was! but she didn't know about that.

me and Dhruv, I helped him and encouraged him to go and confess to her......we both did the planning and when we were done, I told the two of them when Ayesha wasn't around.

She doesn't have a single clue!

later in the party......

"Omg, it's happening! ipshita look Dhruv's approaching her" Anshika whispered to me

while Anannya was busy dancing.

The one thing that none of them knew except me and Dhruv obviously, that I secretly stole Anannya's ring and handed it over to Dhruv. It was a stupid thing to do but Dhruv was going to propose to Anannya with her own ring.

"Anannya, can you please be my girlfriend? I've known you for almost a year now and I want to know you even more. I like you so much that I just can't stop thinking about you. Can you please hang out with me? I'll make sure you won't regret it." Dhruv confessed to her holding her ring in his hand.

I was almost in tears, but I was the one who persuaded him to confess. and the fact that he's happy, makes me happy.

"wha- wait a minute...first of all...from where did you get this ring Dhruv?" Anannya asked him while staring at me with suspicious eyes...

"Umm I don't know...well I'm sorry, I didn't have any option left with me but to help this stupid," I say this while running over to some quiet place.

after a few minutes when I returned, I first went to Dhruv...they both dancing with their respective friend groups and I got to know that Anannya told him that she would think about it and tell him in school after the trip.

scared me, went to them and I apologized to the two of them for not involving them in this plan.

I got everything in control.

That night was just full of surprises laughter and love!

"oh.my.god. what should I do now!! I mean I do like him but as a friend. I never thought of him in that way. I think we're good as friends only. what do you guys think?" Anannya asked us while we were packing for tomorrow's departure in our tents after the party.

"Listen. I think he's a great guy. I mean he is his. especially, for you Anannya. He actually likes you from the beginning, from the day he first saw you. you guys became friends later on and he started liking you more." I tried to convince her.

"Plus, it's not like you are uncomfortable with him or something about him you truly hate.... I mean you understand what I'm trying to say right?" Anshika added.

Anannya nods

"Honestly, at this time, I feel like if you tell him to change something about him or tell him the reasons for why you don't want to be with him, he will work on them and will approach you again after some time" Prisha tried her best too.

"But in the end, it's your decision only. It depends on your feelings. He can't force you on something. if you reject him, yes, he will definitely try again but if you explain everything clearly and refuse him to approach to her again, I don't think that he would" I added because I can't take sides.... They both are my friends, and I must be equal from both the pov's.

"Alright! I'll think about it and let you guys know. let us just enjoy it for now because today's our last night and we won't sleep"!

Anannya says.

"Yes, guys please now all cheer up and bring our snacks and cards and speaker!! let's have our own partyyy!! we'll pack in the morning" "Nights are for the parties!!!" Anshika danced!

In the end, I was happy because both of them, my friends, were happy.
