I spend the rest of the school day with Maria, she seems to be one of those girls who is friends with everybody, and I mean everybody, but doesnt have a best friend. This worked to my advantage, meaning I got to meet everyone but not nesasarily hang round with them ,which was good ifIi didnt like the look of some of them. There were so many people, 35 teachers and 1000 pupils, but I thought i'd start with my form first, as in my year alone ther are 150 students. I managed to pick up some of marias closer friends names, lucy, charlie, gwen, natalie, jade, tiffany, Tegan and paige were some of many. I didnt like the look of Latisha maurice, who maria says is the quen bee round here. So anyway, at the end of the day I felt like a great weight had been lifted off me, day 1 complete.
Mums waiting in the car park ready to collect me, id said goodbye to Maria a few minutes ago as she gets a school bus."Darling! good day" mum asks excitedly as I climb into the car beside her. "uh yeah thanks it was good.... um I made a friend, Maria.." I dont want to be too enthusiastic about my day, seeing as I havent fully forgiven my parents for dragging me away from my life.
The next day something AMAZING happens. I drop my books on the way to History, one of the lessons I dont have with Maria, (dont worry that isnt the amazing bit!) I quickly bend down to pick them up, holding up the whole of the corridoor, when a boy I recognise from our form bends down to help me, I look up to say thank you, AND THATS WHEN I FALL IN LOVE. boom, just like that, but this time it isnt the same as what I felt for Louis, this boy is soooo cute!! I manage to half splutter thank you, my face turning bright red as he smiles casually and offers me a hand up. MY LIFE HAS JUST GOT A THOUSAND TIMES BETTER. maria and I spend the whole time talking about this gorgoues boy in our year. Apparently his name is Jerome, and, luckily for me, hasnt got a girlfriend/ or bagsied ny Latisha. I need to get to know this drop dead gorgeous boy...
