The doctor walked back into the waiting room.

Mr. Kapoor, it seems like your wife had an ectopic pregnancy - That is why it went undetected during her surgery. With the growing pregnancy and the stress on her body - Her Tube Burst and that is why she had the haemorrhage. We have managed to control the bleeding, but I am so sorry - we couldn't save the foetus because an ectopic pregnancy is always a failed pregnancy. we also couldn't save the Fallopian tube the foetus had implanted in. Mrs. Kapoor is stable at the moment and we have placed her in the ICU right now - she is under heavy sedatives and is being supplemented with additional Blood and Haemoglobin"

Ram was dumbfounded - he didn't know what to make sense of.

"Mr. Kapoor you made a very smart decision by getting her to the hospital when you did, A rupture is rare and can be fatal."

With tears in his eyes, Ram said "Thank you so much for saving my Priya. Can I go meet her?"

"Well, she is currently in the recovery room and will be shifted to the ICU within the next 30 minutes. You'll be able to see her then. But she is sedated - so she is not responsive. We do have her on additional oxygen support considering she lost alot of blood. So don't be surprised when you see her. Also on a side note, Your wife has A+ve blood and we have used alot of supplemental Blood. Would you please be able to get us replacement blood. We will need approximately 4 donors. Do let us know."

" Thank you Doctor, I will get right to it."

Ram was reeling with all this information. He wanted to see the love of his life so desperately - But he had to be patient, He had to wait.

Unable to decide next steps - Krish stepped Up :

" Ram, I'll manage the Blood. I think you should talk to Meera aunty and Pihu once."

"Yes, Yes - That seems like the next thing to do"

Ram picked up the phone and called up Adi - "Ram, what's the update? How is Priya?"

"Surgery is over Adi, She is stable and in the ICU - but they couldn't save the Pregnancy."

" OH god Ram, I am so sorry about that. Have you met Priya yet?"

"No she is sedated and the surgery just got done. The doctor said it could have been fatal. I almost Lost her Adi, I almost lost her again"

" Ram, the keyword being Almost, Priya is going to be fine, I'm sure"

"Adi chachu, woh papa hai? Papa, Mumma kaisi hai?" Pihu interrupted.

Adi handed the phone over to Pihu.

"Papa, Mumma Kaisi Hai? Woh theek Hai na?"

"Pihu Baby, your mumma is going to be fine. She is sleeping at the moment but I will get you here to meet her in the evening okay."

"Papa, I miss you and I am missing Mumma also, please take me with you now only"

"Okay Mere Aaka, I will come get you in sometime - Now give the phone to your Nani"

"Han Ram, Priya theek Hai? Kya Hua Kya tha?"

"Meera Ma, Priya was Pregnant and there were some complications in the pregnancy"

"Hai Bhagwaan, ab Priya aur baccha Kaise hai? Sab theek toh hai Na?"

"Meera Ma, doctors Baby ko nahin Bacha Paye - Priya ki bahaut excessive bleeding Ho Rahi thi aur unhein Surgery Karni Padi. Woh ab theek hai"

"Ram, Mein aajaon? Mujhe meri Bachi ko milna hai. Woh kaise kya samjhegi jab woh uthegi?"

"Han ma, Aap aajana - Par thodi der mein, abhi doctors humein Milne nahin De rahe hai. AAP please Khaana Khao araam se, phir mein Adi ko boldunga kab AAP logon ka Aane se koi Matlab hai".

Some how talking to his daughter and his mother - he realised he didn't have the space to breakdown right now. They needed him and he needed to be strong. He managed to focus and knew he had to protect his family from Nandini and Vedika.

Ram immediately called up Adi and asked him to share a complete List of assets, companies - Under who's name it is and how much percentage.

The nurse called him and told him that Priya had been settled into the ICU and if he wanted to sit with her for some time he could.

Ram Braced himself and walked in. Priya was lying sedated with an Oxygen Mask on her mouth and nose. She had a Monitor checking her levels which was beeping at a steady Pace. Her face looked very pale and Gaunt. Like a Lifeless Body.

Ram went and sat next to her and promised her that he will fix this situation. Ram sat there for a really long time, Just praying for Priya to get better soon. A couple of hours had passed when Pihu, Meera Ma and Adi Arrived. Ram hugged his daughter and apologised - "I am so sorry Pihu mein Bhool Gaya ki tum meri beti ho, I love you meri Jaan"

"I love you too Papa, when will mumma wake up?"

"She should wake up soon Baby, The doctor is going to come now - So we will know better after that".
