Soon after that the Doctor entered and checked Priya and her vitals. Ram, Pihu and the others were waiting in the hallway. Soon after the Doctor came out to speak with Ram - "Mrs. Kapoor's Vitals seem to be stable so we have pulled back the sedation now. She will wake up in the next 30 Minutes. Once she wakes up - I will be coming again to do a check on her. She has suffered an Immeasurable Loss - Which is likely to have both physical and emotional repercussions. We will come and counsel her for her Physical Health - but we may have to seek out Emotional Help also. We'll work out a Plan."

"Doctor how long will you'll be keeping her in the ICU? And by when will we be able to take her home?"

"Well, Let her regain consciousness and hopefully if all is well I will shift her to a normal room by tomorrow and we'll take it from there? I estimate atleast a few days in the Hospital - Atleast till she is sufficiently Mobile."

"Yes yes doctor, Whatever you say - I need her to get the Best care possible so that she can heal faster".

"Also Doctor, I know this should not be a priority - But I just need to know, so that I can talk to Priya about this if she asks - Will she be able to get pregnant again?"

"So, she has lost one tube - She does have the 2nd one Intact. But considering her age and stress on her body - I wouldn't recommend planning a Baby for at least 6 Months.

Also I understand she has a History of PPD, and her medical files showed an attempted Suicide as well post your daughter's birth.

In these cases, it is extremely important to understand that the Hormonal Ups and Downs post pregnancy have an enormous impact on your Wife's Mental Health. My recommendation would be to Plan a Baby only after speaking with the endocrinologist and a psychiatrist as they will be able to guide you regarding what is the best course of Action."

Ram was really taken aback by this information overload. It feels like this day was never ending.

He just sat down in the corridor, Needing a minute to catch his breath.

So much has happened and he has barely had time to process any of it. He has learnt so much about his wife today and what all she has been through, what all she is going through and what their future may look like. It feels heavy to be him right now. It feels painful and isolating. The Guilt of having put His Priya and Pihu through it all was just alot to Handle. Ram really needed to be strong but he was not sure where to find the strength from.

That's when Pihu just hugged him. Papa - I love you, mein aapko yaad aagayi Na? Mujhe pata Tha, AAP mujhe bhool hi nahin Sakte the. You are my Rockstar na."

"But Baby, abhi I have to go and sit with your Mumma Now. Will you go home with Nani?"

"But Papa, I also want to meet Mumma na."

"Baby, they don't allow Babies to go into the ICU. We'll do a Video call? Will that be okay?"

"Okay Papa, But you stay with Mumma and Take care okay"

"Yes Boss."

Pihu left with Meera Ma. Meera Ma was herself quite shaken up. How will her daughter comprehend this loss. Loosing a Baby is beyond Painful. She knows - she was forced to go in for an Abortion when she found out that she was pregnant with another Girl after Sandy.

But she knew there was nothing much one could do. We just have to give her space and time.
