Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first and is waiting for it.

When you spend so long trapped in darkness, you find that the darkness begins to stare back.

The dark felt heavy, oppressive, almost supernatural. It was darker than vantablack, if that's even possible. Jungkook soon found himself swallowed up in nothingness, not able to see his own two hands in front of his face.

His mind created horrendous pictures of what could be lurking in that darkness. As a child, we get afraid of the dark but after growing up it becomes part of us and when we are left alone with the darkness, it becomes alive.

"Nghh...mfffhh" the only sound that came out of the young boy's parched throat were muffled shouts.

He was tied to the chair and his mouth was sealed with duct tape.

Not a single thing was visible, not even the sound of wind could be heard. Only his wildly pulsing heart and heavy breathing were piercing the silence of the expanse.

The rivers of tears flowing from his doe brown sparkly eyes which used to hold galaxies in them, are now blinded by the pitch black.

The struggle of moving his muscles became torturous when the thick ropes around his milky skin burned and stabbed deeper into the red wounds.

The boy was helpless, terrified and worried for his only family member. He doesn't know how much time has passed since he was captured, drugged and tied.

At times like this, we regret decisions taken in a rash. It was a similar case with jungkook.

He regrets coming here alone thinking he'll be able to handle everything without his lover-. Ex-lover's help.

How dumb he can be? These people who are currently holding him and his grandma hostage aren't some fancy book characters he enjoyed reading. It was his reality and as much as he enjoys reading dark-crime-thriller genre, No One will ever want to be in the place of the protagonist of the book.

The blankness of his brain was disturbed by the abrupt sound of the metal door screeching open making the poor boy jump in his place.

Heavy footsteps of big boots colliding with the concrete floor approached the trembling figure.

In the next few seconds, Brunette was blinded by the yellow light bulb hanging right over his head.

His blurry visions pained adjusting to the blinding lights. The man stood before him with hands kept in his pockets of black suit.

After gaining his visions back, it didn't take even a second for him to recognize the man in front of him.

"Hello, bunny."

"Jong suk! Let my grandmother go! Don't drag me and my family between your filthy revenge games!" Jungkook exclaimed letting out his anger and frustration. His fear already vanished.

The man before him only laughed at bunny boy's yells which were like a kid threatening another kid to call his mother.

"You really don't fit between us huh jungkook." Lee laughed wiping fake tears from the corner of his eyes while getting glares from the tied-up brunette.

His fury was nothing in front of criminals and psychopaths like jong suk and taehyung.

"Shut up! Leave my grandmother and me out of your mess. Let us go right now! I won't tell anyone about anything that happened today... just free us. We won't interfere in your personal business, beside now you won't get anything out of this anymore, I broke up with your ex-fiancee. We are not together anymore." Jungkook uttered making jong suk's smirk drop as the man's forehead filled in with creases at the boy's words.
