You are hooked.Everyone in knew the historical feud between the Ade-cole and the Obalolas. Many used to say it was because of a royal installation-a cheat might have occured between their early fathers of the family, others says it is only because of a woman, some had their own speculations that it was land.... everyone has different story to tell concerning them, but one thing was certain, no one could say what definitely went between the two families that could have cause such an intense hatred for each other. Right from the olori-ebi's to the youngest of the families, none of them were spared.
Even a newborn might have knew that the fire of hatred between the two families could never be quenched. It ran so deep that the children knew not to play or speak to each other. The hatred was well-known that people in the community had turn it into an expression. If you hate someone with burning intensity, you don't have to look far, a sentence of i hate you just like an Ade-cole will hate an Obalola. Just saying that, you have made your point.
