So, what happened to the Glacier Pirates when they were traveling throughout the universe? Well, there was a battle between the Flame Pirates and the Glacier Pirates. The Glacier Pirates got shot down to Animatron's Snow Fields. But what's gonna come out of the snow is about to give the Pirates a frozen hell.
Then, an unknown tribe appears, and a battle ensues.
Meanwhile, the Maximals (Optimus Primal, Cheetor, Rattrap, Rhinox, Airazor, Riptar, Tigatron, Leobreaker, Wolfgang, Nightscream, Silverwing, Sonar, Kid Devil, and Nyx) are using the waterways to get Cetus to the Snow Fields. And, when they get there, they notice that the cold atmosphere is affecting the team as they head for the distress signal.
Ice King: "They're coming for us!"
Optimus: "Who?"
Ice King: "The Ice Hunters!"
Then, they see the Glacier Pirates with their ship, wrecked, and they exchange some greetings.
Cheetor: "So what happened to you guys anyway?"
Ice King: "After we got shot down by the Flame Pirates, we had an encounter with someone who wants to freeze everything."
Rattrap: "But, you're the Glacier Pirates! I mean who else would wanna freeze the entire planet?"
Ice King: "The Ice Hunters."
