On their way to the Southern Ice Kingdom, the Maximals tread through a dangerous blizzard when suddenly, the Ice Hunters appear and a battle ensues.
Cheetor: "Who are you guys?!"
Sir Fangar: "I see someone's not too fond of the cold. Call me Sir Fangar of the Saber-Tooth Tribe."
Maula: "You can call me Maula, Queen of the Mammoth Tribe!"
Vary: "I am called Vary of the Vulture Tribe!"
Sir Fangar: "We are called the Ice Hunters! And, we're here to turn Animatron into a Frozen Paradise!"
Nyx: "Frozen Paradise", my foot!"
Rattrap: "This coming from the one who attacked the Ice King!"
Mungus: "That's too bad, he didn't wanna be part of our Frozen Paradise anyway despite being a pirate and all.
Maula: "Oh, hush up, son!"
Optimus: "Whoever you are, you'll regret turning the world into your plaything! Maximals, attack!"
However, they don't stand a chance against their Ice powers.
Riptar: "Our weapons prove no effect on our new enemies."
Sir Fangar: "Prepare to be frozen in eternity!"
But that's when 2 Maximals with Ice Powers appear. And both of them are a polar bear, and a penguin.

???: "We got this!"
The Polar Bear-Penguin duo scared off the Ice Hunters and took the Maximals to the Southern Kingdom, where they meet the Snow Queen.
