Lorenzo pov

As we arrived at the station, I checked my phone and saw a text from Greyson. "She's sleeping right now," the message read. "I gave her laughing gas." I raised an eyebrow, wondering why Greyson would do that. I got out of the car, and Carter emerged from his own vehicle. He seemed distant, lost in thought, so I gave him space.

"You ready?" I asked him, and he nodded curtly. I turned to the others, and they all nodded in agreement. Elliot, however, was bouncing up and down like a rubber ball. His excitement was infectious, and I couldn't help but smile at him.

"Calm down a little bit," I said, trying to temper his enthusiasm. But before I could finish, Xander chimed in, "You mean a lot." He reached out and placed a hand on Elliot's head, trying to still his bouncing. Elliot shot Xander a look, but Xander just shrugged.

"Xander, you don't need to be that rude," Xavier scolded his twin. "Elliot's happy, let him be happy." Xander turned to Xavier, his eyes flashing with annoyance. Xavier, sensing the tension, raised his hands in surrender.

We all walked into the station together, a mix of emotions swirling around us. Carter was still on his phone, probably letting someone know we were here. "Blake's coming," he said, noticing me glance at him.

Just then, Blake appeared at our side, a casual smile on her face. "Hi guys," she said, falling into step with us. We all nodded or murmured greetings, our eyes fixed on the doors leading to the area where Harper was being held. We were all anxious to see her, to finally bring her home after so long.

Blake was wearing a guy's sweatshirt, probably Greyson's, paired with black leggings. Her brown hair cascaded down her back, framing her face and accentuating her brown eyes. A silver septum piercing added a touch of edginess to her features. I remembered how scared she was to get that piercing, insisting that only Carter could do it.

Carter had stayed up all night researching how to perform the piercing, and it was hilarious to think about him practicing on little dolls. By the time he pierced Blake's septum, he was a pro, finishing the job in under a minute. Blake, on the other hand, had been dramatic, predicting her own demise. "This is going to hurt," she'd said, followed by "I'm going to die." But when it was all over, she'd remarked, "That wasn't bad."

"Are you coming, Lorenzo?" Blake asked, snapping me out of my thoughts. I hadn't even realized they were talking to me. I shook my head, focusing on the present. "Yeah, I'm coming," I replied, falling into step beside them as we walked towards the area where Harper was being held.

When we arrived, she cautioned us to be quiet, her voice barely above a whisper. As we entered the room, Greyson was sitting in a chair, cradling someone in his arms. His head was resting against the wall, and his hands were gently rubbing soothing circles on the person's back.

"She's sleeping right now," Blake whispered, her eyes fixed on the sleeping figure. But Xander wasn't having it. "Then wake her up!" he said, his voice a little too loud. Blake's response was swift and decisive. She hit Xander on the top of the head, her expression stern. "Shut up," she hissed.

I've seen Blake's fierce side before, and it's not something you want to encounter. She's a force to be reckoned with, and everyone knows it. As an assassin, she's earned a reputation for being ruthless and efficient. When she decided to take a job at the station, I advised her against it, knowing the authorities were eager to put her behind bars. But Blake being Blake, she didn't take kindly to my warning. She threatened the chief of police, and suddenly, the job was hers for the taking.

It's moments like these that remind me to never underestimate Blake. She's a woman of her word, and you don't want to be on the receiving end of her wrath. I watched as she gently approached the sleeping figure, her movements soft and deliberate. Despite her tough exterior, she had a soft spot for those in need, and it was clear she cared deeply for the person in Greyson's arms.
