~Harper~

Last night, David came in with his friends while I was sleeping. I woke up to a punch to my face. They told me I couldn't be sleeping if they were home. Still, I didn't know that rule, so I got punished. My stomach aches, and my head, arms, legs, and even back from the belt. My body hasn't healed from the last time I felt paralyzed. I think it was the drug they gave it to me, making me tired, but I'm trying to fight it.

They give me a lot of drugs and stuff that makes me tired or wide awake. I hate them; I don't want stuff in my body.

I can't tell if I'm tired because of the drugs or the blood loss; my head is bleeding. I know whatever it is, it is not good.

I want to sleep, but the new rule is if David comes downstairs and sees me, I'm dead, but everything is heavy. My head is spinning, and the room is spinning. I put my head on my knees, my eyelids get serious with each blink, and it gets harder to open them. Despite my trying, sleep wins as I fall into darkness. I hope for no nightmares or that David comes home and sees me sleeping.
