"We should get M&Ms," Iris walked into the convenience store, Olivia trailing behind her. The bell on top of the door rang, signalling that they've entered.

"Okay, let's get popcorn too" Olivia replied, grabbing a basket from the front.

They strolled through the snack aisle, making their way in front of the selection of candies and chocolates. Iris was scanning the shelves, picking out different chocolates and reading the labels. As Olivia stood next to her, she looked down the aisle to see if the popcorn was near. However, instead of popcorn, she spotted a worker crouched down, stocking the chips on the shelves.

Olivia did a double take and her eyes widened slightly. She scanned the worker's outfit - a pair of baggy jeans and a plain white t shirt. She had a navy blue apron tied tightly around her waist with the name of the store sewed on the front. Her hair was in a messy high ponytail, loose strands sticking out the front. Olivia couldn't help but check her out. She definitely found her attractive.

Knowing that Iris would think the same, Olivia nudged her on the back attempting to gain her attention. She whispered, "Psst. Iris."

Iris ignored her, eyes moving around the shelves, "Damn, do they not have any M&M's?"

Olivia nudged again, whispering louder this time, "Iris."

Iris raised her hand to the shelf, moving a box of chocolates out of way and looking inside, "Maybe they're hiding in the back."

Olivia shoved her this time, whispering harshly, "Iris!"

"Ow, what?" Iris finally turned to Olivia, rubbing her arm. Olivia subtly moved her head in the direction of the cute worker. Iris moved her attention to the end of the aisle, her eyes widened slightly and her jaw dropped. She realised quickly what Olivia was trying to show her - an attractive worker who was around their age.

The worker continued stocking the chips, opening boxes with a boxcutter and filling the shelves up. She was lost in her own thoughts and she didn't notice the two gawking at her at the other end of the aisle.

Iris turned back to Olivia and they shared a knowing look before quietly holding each other and squealing. Curious about the squealing noises, the worker glanced toward their direction. Olivia and Iris quickly stopped jumping and squealing. They turned back to the chocolates on the shelves, pretending to look for something.

The worker finally noticed the two girls. She sighed softly, hoping that the two teenagers weren't about to cause any commotion. She'd felt like this shift had been long enough and she did not need two young girls to cause any more trouble.

When the worker went back to doing her work, Iris nudged Olivia this time. She spoked in a hushed tone, "She's a cutie! Totally your type".

Olivia blushed out of both excitement and embarrassment. She took another not so subtle glance at the cute worker doing her job. Iris smirked and watched her best friend gawk at the stranger.

"Well? You just going to stare at her all night? Go up to her!" Iris pushed Olivia slightly towards the worker's direction.

"What? No way."

She pushed her even closer to the worker, whispering "Olivia, come on. One look at her and your face is already red. Go. Up. To. Her."

Olivia blushed harder and she pushed Iris hands off of her, "Stop! I don't even know what to say to her."

"Just ask her a question, I don't know. You got this. Come on." Iris gives her a stern look. Olivia reluctantly started moving toward the worker.

Olivia slowly walked closer, her heart beating faster the closer she got. The worker remained crouched down, focused on stocking the shelves in front of her. As Olivia approached, the worker looked up, revealing their whole face. Olivia's heart skipped a beat thinking that she was even prettier up close.
