Olivia laid on her stomach in bed, her phone screen illuminating her face in her dimly lit bedroom. She'd just posted a selfie of her laying in bed on her close friends list. It took her around 30 minutes changing positions and deleting hundreds of pictures before finding the right one.

She was simultaneously on a call with her best friend Y/N, who was giving her constant praise for her selfies and helping her choose the right one to post. Olivia hoped that the picture would grab the attention of a boy in her class, Josh, whom she was crushing on.

A notification from her instagram DMs popped up, making her eyes widen, "Oh my god, Y/N, it worked. He just dmed me!"

"Of course it worked. What did he say?!" Y/N's voice echoed from Olivia's phone.

Olivia read the message out loud to Y/N.

"Oh my God, Liv. He's such a fuckboy"

Olivia slightly grimaced knowing that his response was a little fuckboy-ish. But she chose to ignore Y/N's comment anyways, still delighted that Josh actually dmed her.

"What should I say?"

"It's not even that late. It's like 11pm and he's already pulling that 'go to sleep' line? God, he's so lame" Y/N groaned.

Olivia rolled her eyes, ignoring Y/N. She typed up a response to Josh. She played it safe, going along with Josh's message. 

"Did you reply?" Y/N asked.

"Yeah, just waiting for him to reply now"

The two best friends continued talking while Olivia patiently waited for a response. Olivia listened to Y/N rant about her day and how she got told off from their teacher Mrs Reagan because she was chugging water during class. 

"I was literally just drinking from my bottle and she started lecturing me about water intoxication in front of the whole class. She hates me, I swear"

"What??" Olivia chuckled, "Well how much water did you drink?"

"Okay I chugged like half of my bottle but it was because my stomach kept growling."

Olivia laughed, opening her mouth to respond to Y/N. However she paused, getting distracted from a notification.

Olivia stared at the message confused, "Y/N? Josh just messaged me but I think he made a typo or something. It's just a bunch of random letters"

"What does it say"

"It's 'w-u-u-2'. Is that a code for something?"

Y/N laughed on the other side of the line, the sound making Olivia smile, "What? What's so funny?"

"You're cute, Liv" Y/N giggled even more making Olivia go quiet and blush. "I forgot you text like a grandma"

Olivia rolled her eyes playfully, "What does it meeeeean?" she whines. 

"It's not a code. It means 'what are you up to?'" Y/N explained, Olivia hearing the smile in her voice. "Just tell him you're on call with your favourite person in the whole world!"

Olivia playfully scoffed, a small smile on her face. She replied to Josh's message.  To her surprise, he replied almost instantly.
