Piper

"Leo, are you sure you can't stay? It's just a movie night." Piper pleaded to the white lighter standing in the kitchen.

"I really can't Piper, you know I have to listen when they summon me." Leo replied begrudgingly, even if Piper hated to admit it she could see this wasn't up to him.

"I know... it's just, I miss you. Like all the time. You're always gone as of late and I barely get to see you anymore." The fae admitted. Leo had gotten extremely busy the past few weeks due to the elder's assignments.

"I know and I'm sorry... but you've been working so hard lately and then what little time you have spent out of work has been trying to wait for me... Your sisters miss you, and I'm sure you miss them."

Leo's words broke through to Piper, she had truly been neglecting her sisters, and with that, her witchly duties.

"Yeah... you're right. I guess I've been setting them on the back burner. Oh shoot, I was supposed to call Paige with information on a demon." The thought made Piper walk to begin approaching the landline in the living room.

"She's been fighting that thing for a few days... what kind of demon is it?" Leo followed behind his partner out of the kitchen.

"An... Ida?" Piper recalled. "There's not much on it in the book except it being a vengeful spirit. It's like whoever wrote that in the book of shadows was-"

"Interrupted." Leo finished for Piper, knowing that the page hadn't been finished. The person who had been writing it was killed before they could get anything else out. "The description of an Ida was unreleased, an elder has been the only being to fight an Ida. They died before they could publish their findings. All we know is that they're exactly their name in Latin, wrath. They're one of the most dangerous demons, we almost didn't think they existed because they haven't killed since the Elder." After the explanation from the white lighter, Piper felt a wave of dread consume her.

"This... this sounds like a pretty big deal." The woman mumbled out, feeling her jaw clench. A pit formed in her stomach, she felt awful.

"Yeah, I can't imagine this is a good thing. I'm gonna go ask around for more information on this thing, but let your sisters know. They're gonna need to be in on this in case Idam returns." With that Leo quickly pecked Piper's cheek, before disappearing in a swarm of little blue orbs.

Piper picked up the phone, her finger slipping over the numbers to dial Paige's number. First ring rang out, followed by another, and then another. She could feel her heart increasing in speed with each second that passed by, finding herself begging for Paige to pick up and that she hadn't gotten the news to her too late.

"Hey, it's Paige, you know what to do..." Beep.

Voicemail wasn't at all what the second oldest hoped to hear, but all all she could do was let out a frustrated sigh as she pinched her nose.

"Paige, it's Piper. Give me a call, please." Was all the woman could get out, before she was hanging up to swiftly dial her ginger haired sister's office number.

The third ring was approaching, Piper's heart thumping rapidly, holding her breath without realizing it until...

"This is Paige Matthews."

"Paige, thank god..." Piper let out in relief, the woman's hand coming to her aching head as she felt the fear that something had happened to her baby sister.

"Hey Piper, what's up?"

"Sorry, I called you on your cell and you didn't answer, and I got so scared... that- okay. Your demon is an Ida, his name Idam. He's a wrathful spirit who wants vengeance, any way he can get it. You should leave early, we don't know much but what we do know isn't good."
