According to you, there was no other thing more attractive than the right guy wearing the right cologne. So, it was no surprise that your nose twitched, smelling your surroundings, when you smelt something attractive.

The least person you expected walked in the room. Bucky smiled softly and waved at you, "Morning, Y/n" He said.

"Morning, Buck. Slept well?" The question slipped your mouth, you hadn't meant to ask it, knowing his current condition.

"Actually, I did". He replied, making you internally sigh in relief.

Your back was against the sink, and beside the sink were the cups. Bucky walked to you, extending his metal hand to reach for a cup, while the other one swiftly placed on your waist, before letting go when he had the cup in hand.

During that short time, your nose twitched again and you inhaled his new scent. Yesterday, you were sure Bucky didn't smell this good. It was just a plus. The first day you saw him and Steve walk through that door, your eyes had never left him.

You were mesmerized by his beauty, and who wouldn't? Although you had never expected the infamous Winter Soldier to be so kind and talkative. Well, at least to you. You had seen Nat and Sam trying to speak to him, and well he wasn't just the most social person ever.

With you, however, he wouldn't be as cold as he was with everyone else, he just seemed to have a soft spot for you.

Meanwhile, Bucky wondered if you had smelled his newly bought cologne. Sam had instructed him in popular colognes these days and went with him and Steve to buy one. For you. Of course he knew about your liking for colognes. He had -accidentally- eavesdropped on you and Nat once, you telling her exactly that.

Bucky had walked to 'pick' a cup purposely just so that he could watch your reaction and once he saw your nose twitching, it was almost impossible for him to bite back the gigantic smirk that tried to show on his face. And when he heard you talk, he knew he had you wrapped around his finger.

"New cologne?" You asked, not looking away from your phone, but actually so flusteredly freaked out that you were texting Natasha and Wanda telling them about the little crisis you were having.

Bucky chuckled half-heartedly before answering, "You like it?" He asked, walking toward you and taking the phone from your hands. His face was merely inches away from yours.

You smirked, leaning closer and whispering in his ear, "Probably". Although your intention was to make him flustered -which had partially worked- it also made you flustered, for you had smelled his new cologne.

3:42 a.m. You sat on the rooftop watching the stars. You heard footsteps approaching and didn't even bother looking behind you, already knowing who it was.

"Can't sleep?" You asked when, from your peripheral view, you saw Bucky sitting beside you. He shook his head, "Yeah, me either"

Bucky made a bold move by resting his head on your thighs, slightly tensed at first. However, he relaxed when he felt your fingers caressing his hair.

"You know? You do smell nice," You mumbled inaudible after a few seconds of silence.

Bucky didn't seem to listen at first, so he asked you to repeat yourself, which you did with a tint of red kissing your cheeks. He smirked looking up at you, only to find you already staring at him with a loveful smile on your face.

You sat there in silence before you did the one thing you didn't regret in your life. You kissed him. It was quite sloppy at first, because Bucky needed a few seconds to realize what was happening. But he took no time in catching up, kissing you until you were breathless.

You rested your forehead against his and smiled, as he imitated your action. Bucky started laughing, making you ask "What's so funny?"

"I heard you talking to Nat about colognes the other day", he simply said which made you stare at him in shock and slight embarrassment. "Also, Sam told me that women now-a-days really like men cologne"

You shrugged with a smile before replying "I suspected that". You shivered a little from the cold, an action that didn't go unnoticed by Bucky. Fastly, he sat up from your lap and took off his hoodie, handing it to you.

You took it and put it on, smelling his scent on the process, "I suspect you know that ain't taking this off, Sergeant Barnes"

Bucky kissed you again, with more passion, "I know" He paused before continuing, "girlfriend".

For the next few days, the only thing you'd walk around with would be Bucky's hoodie and a pair of sweatpants or shorts, showing everyone already your relationship with him.

Bucky couldn't complain, as he admired you with a spark in his eyes. However, when you gave it back to him, he couldn't help but frown. You sighed sadly, replying.

"It doesn't smell like you anymore". He laughed, taking off his hoodie and handing it to you. You happily took it in your hands, taking it to your nose and inhaling deeply with a contented sigh.

You put it on again and smiled widely, kissing his cheek. He shook his head at your silliness. You took his hand and guided him to the common room, where you cuddled and watched movies.
