The Mysterious Murderer

Chapter 1

                                                                                  3 Months Earlier

Me, Emma, and Violet just got home from the store and found Jake lying on the floor dead. I should probably do some explaining before I continue. My name is Ava and we all live together in an apartment in Las Vegas. Violet owns it, and me and Emma are her roommates. Me and Emma are preschool Best friends and Jake is Violet's brother. Now back to the present. Me and Emma stood there in shock as Violet screeched in pain, agony, and grief. Emma whipped out her phone and dialed 911. Violet sunk to the floor crying as I stood there in shock. Emma was on the phone with the police and looking very distraught. Violet crawled over to her brother's dead body and collapsed on top of him weeping, "Why? Why? Why?" She screamed.
