"You know things are different without Jake. It's a shame they didn't catch the murderer." Emma said. " Yeah. Violet said. "Wait." I said. "What?" Emma questioned. Why was Jake murdered if he was an innocent man with no enemies? He must have been keeping something from us. "But what?" Emma asked. " I don't know," I said. "Let's find out. Emma, you check his computer, Violet will check his room, and I will check his files. We all ran to our places and started searching. I flipped through his files looking for something useful. "Mcdonald's job interview? No. Bills? No." I heard a gasp come from the dining room. "I found something!" Emma yelled. Violet ran downstairs and Emma ran over to Me. "It turns out he's a scientist and has a criminal record." Emma announced. I went back to his files and found a page that said he works for the mafia and was planning to murder the president for one hundred million dollars.
