More Than Expected

"Hi. What's your name?"

The boy looked up. He looked Minho in the eyes. His eyes teary and red. He wiped his face. "Han Jisung. W-what's yours?" Minho's slight smile brighten when he heard Jisung speak to him. "I-I'm Lee Minho! Would you like anything?" Minho tried his hardest not to scare him away. But Jisung didn't seem scared. "I don't have any money with me. It's fine..." Jisung lowered his head. "It's on the house. Don't worry about paying." Jisung kept his head low. Minho sat back in the booth, thinking for a while. "I'll be right back." And just then, Minho left the booth.

As Minho walked back got the table, he sat a plate and a drink down in front of Jisung. A blueberry cheesecake and 2 iced americanos. Jisung sat his head up slowly. "You were serious..?" He said in a hushed tone. Minho smiled. "Of course I was serious. Did you not want anything?" Jisung quickly shook his head. He pulled the plate towards himself. "No i did! I just didn't want to bother you." Minho lit up. He was so happy that the beautiful boy he seen from across the cafe wanted to talk to him.

"Don't worry about that. So tell me about yourself! Why were you sitting here upset? If you don't mind me asking.." Minho asked. Jisung stop chewing for a second to think. "I don't mind, it's just that..." He paused. "My now ex boyfriend stood me up. And broke up with me over text. We've been together for over 4 years. It kinda hurt." Jisung explained.

There was nothing but love in Minho's eyes. He listened to Jisung explain how he moved here and listened to the shit that his ex boyfriend used to do. He listened with nothing but empathy, excitement, and love behind's his eyes. Minho was the type of person to spend 10 minutes talking with someone and fall in love. But for Jisung, he feels like he's known him for eternity.

When Jisung paused, he looked over and Minho. They made eye contact. It wasn't regular eye contact. It was the eye contact that you feel when you meet the one. The eye contact you make when you truly fall in love. And although they don't know it yet, they'll depend on each other.

More than expected.
