New Year, New Beginning
.

It was new year's eve. Everyone was at Minhos house. There was music and drinks. Everyone was having a good time. Minho had a surprise for Jisung, waiting until 12 to give it to him. Everyone was in on this, even grandma Lee and Yonho. It was about 10 and games were happening in the living room and Grandma Lee was preparing New Year's day dinner.

Jisung kept begging for Minho to tell him his surprise but no avail. He went around to everyone and kept asking if they knew about the secret. Everyone said no. He was dying to know the surprise. Sadly time was not in his side either. The time moved by slowly.

The clock struck 11:42pm and Jisung was in the bathroom, freshening up. Minho stood in a circle, obviously very nervous. "I'm so nerveous, i'm not ready for this. What if he says no?" Chan tried calming the boy down but once he heard the bathroom door open, they all spread out to make it look less suspicious. Once Jisung got out the bathroom, he went into the kitchen to see Grandma Lee knitting. He knew she was the one to tell him.

"You're a very curious boy. I cannot tell you what you want to know, dear. You're going to love it." She said, not looking up from what she was working on. Jisung pouted. He pleaded to Grandma Lee to tell him, but sadly, no avail. They left the kitchen as they realized the time was 11:57pm. Waiting in the living room, they all paired up.

The clock struck midnight. Couples kissed and Minho waited for everyone to be seated. He turned on the tv to show his surprise.

' Us Against the World. ' The tv showed.
It was a slideshow of every picture they have taken, some with scenery describing everything they went through together. The slideshow was almost over. Chan watched Minho slipped away and guided Jisung closer to the tv, leaving room for Minho.

'Us against the world, Jisungie.'
'Turn around.'

The tv read. He turned around to see Minho on one knee. He covered his mouth, tears brimmed his eyes.

"Han Jisung. When I first met you, i instantly fell in love with you. When I first met you the first thing i thought was 'he's beautiful'. I love you more than anything in this world. I confirmed that feeling from the first time we kissed. Our first date. And our first night sleeping together. Cuddled up in bed. I'll continue to love you until my dying days. When I leave this earth, i pray that i reconnect with your soul and find you again. We've gone through hell and back. And I'll continue to do so as long as i'm with you. I want to be with you through everything, and then some. This ring that I give you tonight is a promise to you that I'll love and cherish you forever. A promise to marry you. I want to spend my life with you. We may be too young to marry now, but i promise as soon as we're old enough, i'll take that chance. I love you. So Han Jisung. Can it just be Us against the world?" Jisung wiped a few tears that fell. He helped his boyfriend off of the floor.

"Always."

They kissed. Their first kiss of the year. This truly marked a new beginning for them. And more to come.
