Tommyinnits first good christmas!!

Chapter 7 : decorating the tree

This morning Tommy was the first up after Phil and was quick to run down the stairs into the kitchen where Phil was already sitting with his morning Coffee

"Morning Toms , whats got you so happy today?" He kindly asked

"I- well.. yesterday you said we would decorate the christmas tree?..." Tommy said , he was nervous and scared Phil could have changed his decision , yesterday evening the Two had sat outside and watched it Snow when Tommy confessed he never had decorated a tree before , so Phil had promised they would decorate theirs today.

"Oh right!" Phil sighed "don't worry we will do that today,  i'll just have to talk to the Twins since we always decorate as a family" Phil explained , Tommy frowned since he wasnt Family. So did it mean he couldnt decorate with them. Phil must have sensed what he thought because right as he opened his mouth Phil interrupted him

"And you are Family Toms. For us you are like family so you can decorate with us , i know what you just thought " he chuckled sadly

"Sorry.. bad habbit.." Tommy mumbled , Phil stood up and walked over to him and ruffled his hair.

"Its alright mate , some day you will understand how much we love you" he told his youngest , Tommy nodded with a small smile

"When will we decorate it then?" Tommy asked

"How about we both get the stuff from the attic and then we wake the Twins to decorate the tree?" Phil smiled at him , Tommy was quick to nod and agree

"Good good..." Phil smiled at him "last one Upstairs is a slow snail!" Phil suddenly said , Tommy was quick to run upstairs to the attic as he laughed. the older blond simply walked up behind him with a smile , he was happy to see his youngest Laugh loudly again,  since he had told him about his Depression he hadnt laughed so much.

Five minutes later the two had gotten the tree and the decorations from the attic. The Watsons always have had a fake tree since they found it annoying to throw away every year. Tommy started unpacking the packages of decoration with a smile while Phil went upstairs to get the Twins , he got out different kind of Ornaments , Some were red , some where silver and had glitter on them , he took a red one out of the box it was in and immediatly he recalled and let it fall like it had hurt him in some way. Right then the Twins walked into the room with Phil.

"Tommy?-"

"i-i'm sorry , i didnt mean to let it fall-"

"hey.. hey.." Wilbur shushed him "Its okay , don't worry , what happened?" he gently asked and kneed down infront of Tommy as he gently took his hands into his own , ignoring the broken Ornament on the floor next to them , Techno left the room , probably to get an dustpan and brush for the broken Ornament.

"I dont know..." Tommy whispered , trying not to cry "I just picked it up but it fell wrong so i immediatly let it fall- i'm sorry"

"its alright Tomy , it's not your fault that you feel this way" Wilbur gently smiled at him

"he's right Theseus , you can't control what feels right and what wrong for you. We understand , plus, its just an Ornament that we can always replace if we need more" Techno immediatly agreed as he walked back into the room with a dustpan and brush.

"really?" Tommy asked , it was quiet but they could all hear it.

"really. How about we put up the tree , decorate it a bit with the light and then we go buy some new Ornaments? I think we really could use some new ones, these are ages old." Techno joked making them all chuckle

"that sounds like a good plan" Phil smiled at them

"they are ages old? Like Dadza?" Wilbur asked with a knowing grin

"oh you little shit" Phil laughed as he walked over to the Box of the tree and opened it. "lets start Setting up the tree , then we can go get new Ornaments" the older blond said.

Twenty minutes later the four of them were at the shops. Wilbur and Tommy were seatching for Ornaments while Techno and Phil were looking at more Christmas lights.

"Toms! look at these Red silver ones! come on , touch on" Wilbur excitingly said to Tommy as he held one to the blond boy

"what if i let it fall and it breaks?.." Tommy asked

"dont worry" the brunette smiled at him , slowly handing him the ornament and putting his hands under Tommys incase he would drop the ornament. But instead Tommys eyes shone in Amazement as he felt the ornament

"its- not that bad.. Its amazing actually " Tommy smiled at Wilbur right as Techno and Phil walked up to them with a blowup snowman and LED lights

"i see you found some?" Phil smiled at them when he saw Tommy handing the ornament back to Wilbur and him picking up a whole box of the red silver ornaments

"yep! We even Tommy tested them!"

"Tommy tested?" Techno raised an eyebrow

"I gave Tommy one to see if he liked the feeling of it to make sure we got some he could touch without them falling down , and kucky us , Tommy didnt recall to them so i think they should be good" The younger Twin replied

"bruhhh" Techno said as Tommy chuckled lightly , the older boy looked down at the younger with s small smile.

Later when they were back home , the rest of the day was spend with decorating the Tree. Wilbur struggled with untangling the light , making Tommy and Techno laughing out loud as they had started putting the Ornaments on the tree. Phil just stood on the side and took Pictures and Filmed a few seconds before eventually joining in and helping Wilbur untangle the lights. Once that had been done they put the lights up by the Tree and put the blowup Snowman up outside. Tommy smiled as he looked at the tree that night , but even as he had never decorated a christmas tree till now he knew that something on the top wasnt right..

"hey Phil? I think there is something missing in the top.. it looks wrong.." Tommy mumbled , frowing at the tree. Suddenly he was picked up with laughter from behind "what!?-" , Wilbur held a Star for the top his way , he looked down to see Phil was the one holding him up. With a small smile he carefully took the christmas tree star and put it ontop of the Tree. Immediatly after it was done Tommy was let down and admired the Tree once again

"does it look right now?" Phil asked and Tommy looked up at him

"yes" he smiled , he heard a camera click and turned around to see Wilbur holding his camera. He just shock his head with a smile and turned back around , leaning into Phils side who immediatly put an arm around his youngest. Tommy loved this family.. he loves this family. As he made this realisation he smiled even brighter and finally he knew what he could wish for this year. Maybe Santa would guve him gifts this year...
