Jungkook stood by the door, his expression serious but his eyes full of worry as he spoke. "I've got a very important mission. I don't know where it came from, but I need to go somewhere," he said, his voice low. He hesitated for a moment, looking at you with a mixture of concern and resolve. "Just... take care of yourself while I'm gone."

You blinked, still groggy from sleep. "Hmm," you mumbled, not fully processing his words.

He crouched beside you, brushing your hair gently out of your face. "I mean it. If you need anything, call me. Here," he handed you a knife and a gun, already loaded. "I know you're young, but self-defense doesn't care about age. Use it if you have to."

That startled you awake slightly. You sat up, rubbing your eyes as he kissed your forehead. "If you need anything, call this number," he said, quickly reciting a number before heading to his room to gather his things.

You watched as he moved swiftly, gathering weapons and stashing them in various hidden pockets. He seemed so prepared, so intense-unlike the carefree Jungkook you were used to. He moved with purpose, his focus razor-sharp.

"Ok," you replied, still half-asleep, as he left the house without another word. No breakfast, no explanations, just gone. His car's engine roared to life, and he drove off with several men, leaving you standing there, confused and a little anxious. He had never left so suddenly, without even telling you what was going on.

You stared at the empty driveway, a strange sense of dread settling over you. "I hope he comes back safe..." you whispered, sending a silent prayer into the air as you shut the door and locked it behind you.

The next day, around 7:00 PM

The hours had crawled by in a haze of anxiety. You tried to distract yourself, reading a book on psychology, but your mind kept wandering back to Jungkook. What mission was so urgent that he had to leave like that? Why hadn't he called? Every few minutes, you glanced at your phone, hoping for a message, a missed call-anything. But it stayed silent.

Just as you were getting into a chapter, a loud, frantic voice suddenly shattered the quiet. "Y/N!" someone screamed, followed by the honking of a car horn, loud and insistent.

You jumped, nearly dropping the book. "What the...?" you muttered to yourself, confused. You rushed to the window, peeking outside. But the voice wasn't Jungkook's-it was someone else. Someone familiar, yet not quite recognizable in the moment.

The honking stopped, but the voice called your name again, louder this time. "Y/N!"

You furrowed your brows, annoyed and concerned. "Who is it?" you shouted out of the window, trying to place the voice, but it didn't belong to anyone you immediately knew. Silence followed your words, and for a moment, you wondered if it had just been a dream, or if someone was messing with you.

Sighing in frustration, you sat back down, trying to shake off the uneasy feeling that had settled in your stomach. You went back to your book, but couldn't focus. It felt like someone was watching you, like eyes were on you from the shadows. You looked around the room, but there was no one there. The curtains rustled in the slight breeze, but other than that, everything was quiet. Too quiet.

8:30 PM

Darkness had fallen outside, and the house seemed unnervingly still. The eerie quiet began to gnaw at you, twisting the anxiety inside your chest. Where was Jungkook? You hadn't heard from him since he left. Your phone had no signal, and every time you tried to call him, the line either went dead or told you he was busy.

You tried calling him again for the tenth time, and once more, you were greeted with the automated voice, "The person you are calling is currently busy, please try later." You groaned, frustrated.

"Where are you, Jungkook?" you whispered, feeling the unease intensify.

Just as you were about to doze off on the balcony, the same frantic voice from earlier cut through the night air. "Y/N!"

You jolted awake, heart pounding in your chest. It was that same man. You jumped up, rushing to the edge of the balcony and scanning the street below. There was no one. The street was deserted, eerily quiet.

"Who's there?" you called out, your voice trembling. But there was no response. The voice had vanished as quickly as it had come. The silence was almost suffocating, wrapping itself around you like a thick fog. You leaned over the balcony railing, trying to see if anyone was hiding in the shadows, but no one appeared.

Was it just your imagination? Or was someone really out there, watching?

9:00 PM

Your stomach growled in protest, reminding you that you hadn't eaten anything all day. Still, you stayed on the balcony, too worried about Jungkook to think about food. He still hadn't returned, and the strange occurrences of the evening weren't helping your nerves.

Then, suddenly, a car horn honked again, shattering the silence. This time, you recognized the sound immediately-it was Jungkook's car.

You stood up quickly, rushing down to the front door. The headlights of Jungkook's car illuminated the driveway, and there he was, standing by the car with a wide grin on his face. "Open up!" he called, his voice bright, almost too cheerful for the situation.

You flung the door open, a mix of relief and frustration flooding through you. "Where the hell were you, huh?" you yelled, unable to keep your voice steady as the emotions poured out.

Jungkook raised his hands in mock surrender, still smiling. "Whoa, calm down. I was-"
