David begins to walk inside the school, his mind lingers pondering about the math test.

His friend Daniel comes out of nowhere and says "What up Dave, you studied for the math exam?" David then looks at Daniel and says "No bro I completely forgot that it was today and I need to pass or else I won't be able to go to the party."

"Damn man looks like your the one getting the short end of the stick eh."

"Yeah yeah laugh it up, is there anyone in our class that can like you know... slide the answers cause the last thing I need is to stay home in the last year of High school and do nothing while everyone is having the time of their lives. Please for the love of god is there anyone... that you know that can help me."

Daniel took a long pause then he said "Mm wow I think I might be hearing things can you repeat that again?"

"Don't push it."

"Ha just kidding I know a guy he is really good and he can help you out."

"GREAT, when can I meet this guy?"

"During lunch is usually the best time."

David then dabbed up Daniel and said "Thanks man see you later."

As David walks to his class right before he can step in, the bell rings and Mr. Miller catches him and abruptly stands in front of him blocking his entrance to the class.

He then speaks in an annoying tone "Well well David looks like your luck ran out, if I am not mistaken I could have sworn that I heard the bell ring and oh look you aren't in your seat. Care to explain why you are not on that seat right this very moment." David then responds sarcastically saying "Well Mr. maybe if you could just move aside so I can take my seat then maybe we both can be happy."

Mr. Miller then smiles and chuckles saying "You see... I could do that or I could write you up and send you to the office how does that sound? Maybe I could call your mom in advance since you seem to be in a very talkative mood today."

"Fine... I am sorry that I am late please don't call my mom she already was in a shitty mood before."

Mr. Miller stared at him, then raised his eyebrow, smirked, and said "Fine you may take your seat David, but you better not be late again."

As David finds his seat some students are smirking and giggling, others spreading secrets and mischief of one another, and some are just in a deep slumber not aware of the world around them. David then sits down and places his backpack on the floor, reaching for his laptop, and preparing for any tasks the teacher will assign.

Mr. Miller then turns on the Promethean and says "Good Morning Class." Half the class responded and said, "Good Morning Mr. Miller." Mr. Miller then smiled and went on to grab a Sharpie and walked back to the middle of the class.

He then sits on a table he had in front of everyone playing with the sharpie as the students stare at him with a puzzling look which then he looks up

"You see what I just did there?"

The students stare at him confused until David then says "Playing with the Sharpie?" Mr. Miller then says "That is correct Mr. Cooper, but do you know why I am playing with a Sharpie?"

David says "Uh I don't know? Maybe to make an example." Miller responds "Of what?"

He then added on saying "Perhaps I am making an example of you all."

"Now imagine this Sharpie is your life and imagine me as you if that makes sense? A Sharpie is made to create images or create letters a simple Sharpie in the right hands has the power to create great things for our eyes to understand or interpret but, if you don't open it and use it you will never find out what those things are."
