Sunghoon's phone ring and show 'Jake' on the screen making the latter pick up the call almost immediately, "what?" Sunghoon asked as soon as he answered the call resulting Jake to let out an awkward chuckles making Sunghoon sigh. "I have work today, ask Jay or Heeseung" Sunghoon continue as he knew that Jake is asking for him to look after Jihyun as both Jake and Jiwoo have work out of the city. It happens at least once a month, so he know.

"no, Jihyun have school today, I'm just asking you to pick her up and look after her until seven or eight, Jiwoo have to work overtime and I have an undercover, don't tell Jiwoo about it, I said that I'll take Jihyun home today" Jake explains make Sunghoon glance at the time. 1:36PM. "um, yeah I think that one is possible, I'll get off at five, her preschool ended at quarter after five, right?" Sunghoon asked making Jake hum as a yes.

"alright, leave it to me" Sunghoon continue, "you always save me, thank you, I'll treat you lunch tomorrow" Jake utter before hanging up making Sunghoon sigh. "and yet, you're asking me when will I get married" Sunghoon roll his eyes before continuing his work.

[ 6:12PM ]

"Jihyun, do you want anything?" Sunghoon ask while the toddler sit in front of the tv, watching kids videos that the older put on. "can I have ice cream? do you have one?" Jihyun ask with her soft voice, "yeah, i have a few flavours, come here and choose one for yourself" Sunghoon signal the toddler to come making her make her way to him excitedly and Sunghoon lift her to show her a clear view of the ice cream. "can i have the green one?" asked the toddler, "this one?it's lime though, can you eat sour things?" Sunghoon asked her back as he slowly hand the ice cream to her.

Jihyun nods as she take the ice cream from the older, "i like sour things" Jihyun answered as she tear the ice cream packaging and eat it with a smile making Sunghoon chuckles. "you surely follow your mom more than your dad, your dad doesn't like sour things" Sunghoon utter making the toddler smile and nods, "they say that all the time" Jihyun utter as she bite on the ice cream making Sunghoon chuckles as he ruffles the toddler hair.

The door bell ring making Sunghoon confuse as he glance at his watch, "let me check, maybe your dad decides to come early" Sunghoon utter making the toddler nod as she watch Sunghoon walk to the front door of his apartment. Sunghoon open the door and shock to see Kang Jiwoo standing in front of him, "where is Jihyun?" Jiwoo asked as she step inside to look for her daughter. "I hope Jake live longer" Sunghoon reply as Jiwoo watch her daughter eating ice cream on the man kitchen counter.

"let's go home sweetheart" Jiwoo say making the toddler walk to her with a nod, "I'm going to give your daddy a whole lecture" Jiwoo continue, "he is going for an undercover, he doesn't want to tell you that.." Sunghoon utter making Jiwoo sigh and turn to the latter, covering Jihyun ears tightly. "he always thought i'm mad of him going to one, I'm not. I'm mad because he never tell me those and end up coming home almost or past midnight and say that it's nothing. that's what I'm angry of.. I'm just affected by how he have less time for the family..." Jiwoo rants making Sunghoon shut his mouth.

"don't tell him I fetch Jihyun from you..just let him be" Jiwoo continue, "Jihyun have been talking about having siblings and i'm afraid of having a miscarriage but I can't help to think about this too, he doesn't even have enough time now.. I don't want to be disappointed.." Jiwoo add before pulling her hands of the toddler ears and carry Jihyun in her arms and take her bag, "say bye" Jiwoo utter with a smile making Jihyun wave to Sunghoon before they walk out.

Sunghoon let out a sigh before reaching for his phone and dial Jake's number. "I'm nearly on my way" Jake say as soon as he pick the call up, "nevermind, you should go straight home, Jiwoo just pick Jihyun up from me.." Sunghoon explains making Jake silent for a few seconds, "Jiwoo picked her up, from you?" Jake asked im shocked, "yeah, you better come home and talk to her, she rants about you just now" Sunghoon answered making Jake let out a sigh before ending the call.
