All three guys had very different reactions. Tim on one hand didn't trust Alex, as far as he could throw him, meaning not at all. Hoodie didn't like the guy and he instinctively backed up leaning onto Tim now. Whereas Jay, who still trusted Alex, looked happy to see him.
"Alex! Where have you been?" Jay said, moving past Tim and the hooded man. Getting closer to Alex.
Alex shifted, putting his hands behind his back.
"Heyyyy Jay..."
There was an air of annoyance in his voice which he tried to hide but Jay didn't notice it regardless. Tim and the hooded man however did notice, and Tim saw Alex's hands shift hiding behind his back. He was suspicious of him. He grabbed Jay's arm pulling him back.
"I don't trust him Jay. Get back here." Tim said.
"So you'd rather be with that thing-?" Jay countered.
"No but I'll take him over Alex."
The hooded figure relaxed a bit, seeming to like that statement.
Jay pulled away from Tim, making the grasp that he had on his arm loosen. "I don't care if you trust him or not, he's my friend."
The hooded figure reached out, grabbing Jay's other arm. He didn't say anything, instead he tilted his head as if to say; "Really Jay?"
Jay rolled his eyes slightly annoyed now, as both of them were holding him back. "What's the big deal? Let go of me!"
Tim scoffed as Jay said this, tightening his grip on his arm. The hooded figure pulled Jay closer to the two of them. Jay struggled and Alex just watched, mildly confused and a little annoyed as well.
"Are you two idiots done fooling around with him yet?" Alex huffed. Why were the two of them so intent on keeping Jay from him? He knew how suspicious he looked, but he didn't think Tim cared for Jay that much, and he didn't think the figure even knew Jay. He was so annoying. Tim was getting tired of the back and forth going on.
"Jay remember the conversation we had in the closet?"
"Yeah-"
"You guys had a conversation in the closet-?" Alex asked, even more confused and a little concerned.
"Yeah yeah whatever- Jay, remember how I said you shouldn't run off and that you were an idiot? Well here's the time not to run off and not to be an idiot because clearly something is up with this guy!"
Jay rolled his eyes, getting more annoyed letting out a huff, much like Alex's. "Let go of me," he said to Tim then, turning his head towards the hooded figure. "Especially you, I don't even know you!" The hooded man grunted and shook his head as Tim's grip tightened on Jay again.
"I'm not going to let you act like an idiot Jay." Tim said, glancing at the figure. "And neither is he, apparently."
"I am not acting like an idiot. And even if I was, I don't know why either of you care so much! If I get hurt it's none of your concern." He shrugged, trying to get them to let go.
"Have we not been through this already?" Tim said, frustrated. "It is my concern if you get hurt, you're my friend and the only one I have left at that. Quit trying to act like I don't care!"
The hooded figure loosed his grip some, focused on Tim. Jay saw the reaction that the hooded figure had but he was confused about it, why would the hooded man care? He could admit that sure, maybe Tim cares, but the hooded figure? He had no reason. Unless he was reacting to Tim... Jay watched him for a moment, trying to think of someone who would care about Tim like that. He didn't know Tim all that well, unfortunately. He had met him on the set with Alex. He seemed like a loner, didn't have many friends, except for... Brian? But that couldn't be possible Brian had been gone for a while. He remembered Tim telling him once that one day Brian just up and left all his stuff still in his place and everything. How long had this hooded figure been around? Why would Brian be doing this? He could work with Tim, he would be better with him than Jay was at least. He wondered if the thing that had been following them had something to do with it. But Brian wouldn't ever work with that thing- the entirety of the small amount of time Jay had spent with him Brian had been laughing and making jokes. He was a super friendly guy and seemed to cheer up even Tim. Why would he of all people be creeping around in the woods at night with a frowny face mask? Jay wasn't sure if he wanted all the answers to his questions, but he did know that he wanted to figure out who this masked mas was. He reached for his mask, but before he could get to it there was a loud noise. All four guys looked shocked and spun around to see what it was. They saw a very angry looking animatronic wolf, standing behind Alex. He backed away, towards the others, laughing nervously. As he backed up getting closer to them. Tim, being mean, and thinking nothing bad would come of it, tripped Alex right as the animatronic pounced. Alex screamed, a very high pitched, girly scream at that, and Jay jumped for him, pulling him out from under the creature before she brought down her giant shiny claws on his chest. Jay looked as surprised as the others that he had done this, as he wasn't thinking when he did it. Alex was in shock for a minute before pushing him away, however not with much force. It was as much of a thank you as Jay expected, and all four guys ran from the raging animatronic.
"What did you do to make it mad now?!" Tim demanded.
"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" Alex yelled as they all ran, the hooded man falling behind the others despite usually being the fastest. (Guess he was tired from carrying this story /j /srs) Tim was the only one to notice that he'd fallen behind, as Jay and Alex never looked back. The wolf was getting closer, the hooded figure was breathing heavily, gasping for air now. The robot almost laid hands on him, claws out, when Tim grabbed him by the hoodie strings and yanked him away from the thing.
They turned a corner, out of sight of the robot and the other two. He leaned against the wall as the hooded figure leaned down with his hands on his knees, wheezing. The figure adjusted his hood, pulling it out from his face from where it closed in.
"That's the only noise I've ever heard you make, besides when I tackled you- and shoved you- and walked into you..."
The figure's head turned towards Tim dramatically and he immediately stopped wheezing.
Tim rolled his eyes looking at the other. "Don't look at me like that."
The hooded man tilted his head and shrugged his shoulders, as if he was saying "Like what?"
"You know what! I didn't mean to do half those things alright! What were you doing standing outside that closet anyway?" Tim asked.
The hood man straightened up, but didn't say anything.
"What's your name anyway? Do you even have one or are you just a mindless, nameless slave to that thing?" Tim's voice was a bit aggressive. He still didn't like the figure very much.
The figure took a moment before he pointed at himself.
"Yes, you. Who else would I be talking to?"
The figure shook his head, and pointed again at his chest. Tim looked at him confused for a solid minute before it finally clicked.
"Hoodie? Is that your name?"
The figure- Hoodie- nodded. Tim scoffed.
"That's a stupid name," He said with a slight laugh.
Hoodie crossed his arms in a pout. Tim smirked and looked around for the others. There was no sign of Jay, Alex, or any of the animatronics. Suddenly the lights turned on with a loud click and shutter throughout the whole building. Both guys were confused, as they assumed this place had been abandoned for years- but then again, the animatronics had been up and running just fine. In the distance, they heard faint music, seemingly from the arcade machines. They noticed neon lights running up and down the walls, illuminating the hallways and all the mess in them. There was a lot of dust, as well as mysterious red stains. Every few feet there seemed to be another one of those metal carts. Some had empty pizza boxes, some had party decorations, some were just full of wires and scrap metal. There were doors along the hall too, but most of them were closed. Hoodie looked around, curious and still quite confused.
"Well that's interesting. We should probably find Jay- I think he ran off with Alex." Tim said, already walking away down another hallway, assuming this is where the guys ran. Hoodie followed him without complaint.
