Y/N's PoV: ???

Walking in an endless abyss of darkness, I wondered if this is the face of death. An utter darkness. Am I dead? I have a huge probability that I died from the poison of that vine demon and blood loss. As far as I noticed the last time I was conscious, were the wounds on my head, stomach, arms and legs and maybe a few broken ribs. Those were enough to kill me.

I walked and walked, not knowing where to go and what to do in this dark place. Now I know why people loathes death so much.

Drowned in my own train of thoughts, I didn't noticed the change of scenery. Dark void of abyss is replaced by...a familiar estate. This is the estate of the Tokoyo family. The home of Tokoyo Isamu and Tokoyo Chiyo.

I walked closer but was stopped by the sight of Isamu and Chiyo covered in blood along with two kids, which I supposed were their children, laying just a few meters away from the couple.

My breath hitched and hands balled into fists from the sight. My attention was then averted to the Crape Myrtle tree, where I once sat with the couple to interrogate them, and saw the same demon I defeated just before I lost my consciousness.

He was munching on a body part, which I don't know who belonged to. Could that belong to Chiyo and Isamu's children that were slaughtered? No, it couldn't be. The children's body are still intact. Could that be...one of their children being eaten?

My eyes widened in horror as I stare at the demon with pure disgust. I attempted to reach on my blade but as I touched my left hip, where my blade is strapped, it was not there. 

The demon seems to notice my presence as he turned his almost-decapitated head to me, revealing his blood-covered mouth and smiled maliciously  to me

I jolted from my bed, sweating and panting. That was all a dream...thank goodness. Pain immediately shot through my whole body as soon as I calmed down, resulting in me falling back on the soft mattress, grunting in pain. Wait... mattress? As far as I know, I was in the forest near the Tokoyo village...
