I see the horrifying creature drop to the floor, as I feel- bad?
I looked down at the creature. It was around 7 feet tall, with long black mane-like hair coming from its head, which had the look of a wolf's skull, with only a thin layer of cream-colored fur over the wolf-looking face. The creature has bone-like looks to its nose, which were slits instead of a normal dog-like nose. The thing looked horribly skinny and starved, and its sockets that before had a glowing white circle in them were now empty. The thing had big, sharp teeth that made me shudder just looking at it.
"Why am I feeling bad for a MONSTER!?" I think, horrified at myself.
It didn't help me when I noticed that it was bleeding black blood on the floor.
My inner Todd says to me, "Help it! Poor puppy!"
I think, "It's not a mere puppy! It's-"
The Inner Todd finishes, -"scary."
"Yeah, scary."
"It's just as scared of you as you are of it." Inner Todd explains.
Normally this would happen when I'm in a fight or flight scenario. My mind splits into two. I become more like... an animal, a-"
I come to my senses, and I run to get my first aid kit.
I fumble through it, then pull out bandages, gauze, and disinfectant spray.
"Good thing I never plan to be a doctor." I mutter, wondering what the heck I'm supposed to do.
I see a floaty red string coming from the wound and going to who-knows-where, so I pull it off the wound.
Instantly the thing stops bleeding.
Inner Todd says to me, "Put the bandage on her!"
I asked Inner Todd, "What?"
Inner Todd repeats itself, more annoyed.
I ask myself, "How do you know that it's a girl?"
Inner Todd says, "I dunno, maybe the fact that IT SPOKE TO YOU WITH A FEMININE VOICE!"
After the adrenaline dissipates entirely, me and Inner Todd become a single mind again, and I could finally think clearly.
I wrap her shin with the bandage after spraying disinfectant spray, then I attempt to lift her up.
I fail, but I do notice a floaty golden string stuck to my shirt. I pluck it off in annoyance, and try using my legs to help lift the limb body.
It easily lifts her into the air, as I think to myself, surprised, "Wow. I don't even lift, and I can do this! I never thought that Dave was right when he said that your legs were stronger than your arms!"
It seemed almost too easy, I was now lifting the body onto the bed with my arms. I couldn't lift her a few seconds ago, but it worked now!
As I'm walking past, I run my face into a blue-tinted spiderweb, as all the items on my kitchen counter fall over.
"Are you kidding me!?" I think, annoyed at the timing.
I leave her limb body on my bed, and I set up a sound-trap so that I'd know when the thi- well, she- gets up.
I flop down on the couch, as I see a floaty glowing white string coming out of the TV remote.
"Radioactive spiders?" I think to myself, examining the string before pulling it.
I turn on the news channel, and sit the remote down.
